Dr. Beryl Sandler Brown, MD

Dr Brown was my surgeon in 2017 for my breast cancer. She was friendly funny made me feel confortable through everything. She is a diamond. I am back seeing Dr Brown for a biopsy which she did and we laughed during it. I love her and would not want any other surgeon. She is the best in this area my no.1.

I am 36 years young, and never thought about being tested for genetics. My mother was really worried about my family history; because all of the woman were dying of cancer. I went forward with genetic testing, and was given the worst unexpected news of my life. I was told that i had a 93 % chance of dying at age 50, from colon cancer. Dr. Brown's nurse Michelle made me a stat referral for a colonoscopy, and with genetic testing having so many unknown variables, we thought, the test would come back normal. But, it didn't; not only did i have a polyp, but it was confirmed as being a cancerous tumor. If i didn't do the genetic testing, i would've waited to age 50 for my first standard colonoscopy, and i would've been told after that visit that i had colon cancer. I am so grateful to Coastal Surgical. Dr. Brown and her team at Coastal saved my life, and there isn't a high enough star on google to rate that kind of patient care. I would send my entire family to this group if needed. They… really care!

I like Dr. Brown. Saw her for the first time a couple weeks ago and she and her nurse are great. She talks fast so I'll have to remember to stop her to ask questions. The practice, however, leaves something to be desired and is my reason for 3 vs 5 stars. They were supposed to order an MRI for me and 2 weeks later I hadn't heard anything so I called. I had to call 3 times (in a row) to get information...was on hold for total of about 43 minutes. Finally got her nurse on the phone after complaining. Hopefully they'll improve this very poor service.

The ultimate professional she is articulate and demands perfection from her team. Devoted to her craft she is an extraordinary surgeon I have had many dealings with her. In my twenties a hernia repair and have never had an issue with her work. In my late forties I had gotten breast cancer and she did a bilateral mastecomy on me once again I had no issues. None. Do you know rare that is not to have complications after such a difficult procedure? She is one of a kind in her professional and she will always be my surgeon for everything.

Dr Brown is an awesome surgeon with a very pleasant personality. Which is a plus when you're facing surgery.

Dr. Brown is 1 of the best Doctors I have ever had. She has the best bedside manner and she treats you like a person. She really cares about her patients & people. You will not regret having her as your Doctor

Dr. Brown is a type "A" personality and is bubbling over with enthusiasm for her profession. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and received a mastectomy. She was very thorough throughout my journey. It does help to have your questions written down because she TALKS REALLY FAST! If you don't have them written down, you may forget what you want to ask! Other than that, she was wonderful and caring.
