Best doctor I have seen. Very responsive and interested on overall health. Takes time to listen and take action to address any problems.

My husband, Gary Loken, had a heart transplant. He suffered severe "runs". Dr John Dieck referred him to Dr. Beth H. She was awesome. Although he had to do many "hydration" treatments at her clinic she FINALLY after calling around to other hospitals decided he had GRAFT VS HOST. Within a few days he was feeling better. Goodbye to IV and being tied to the"toilet". She is the best. Would recomend her to anyone.

Dr.H is kind and caring but also direct and honest. Her staff is knowledgable and sweet. Cancer is the pits but they are wonderful.

Dr. Hellerstedt may be short in stature, but she is a bulldog when it comes to taking care of her patients. When I got an unexpected diagnosis she made sure I understood what was going to happen, reassured me that we could deal with it, and then made things start happening ASAP to get me the tests and care that I needed. I cannot say enough about this doc. She is outstanding!

Dr. Hellerstedt is extremely personable, intelligent, and encouraging. She has been called the "sledge hammer" for cancer, and she demonstrated that in my case. She is extremely popular amongst the breast cancer circle I am in, so I know she is loved by many others besides me. She is also very conservative with her monitoring, i.e. she prefers to play it safe. If you are looking for it all in a doctor, she's your gal!

Dr. Hellerstad is very caring. Knowing I was very scared and had many questions not just from me but my husband as well. She took the time to answer each on and gave many other options we could take. On my first appt. she did ever test possible to get a big picture and work down from there. She is very sweet and easy to talk to. She is awesome and every check up it is as if it was the very first appt.

We consulted Dr. Hellerstedt as a second opinion for treatment of my husband's prostate cancer. She was extremely helpful in our decision-making process. Her "bedside manner" is exceptional. We found her to be extremely knowledgeable in terms of various treatment options, and helped us "think through" the mountain of information we had gathered from two other doctors and other sources. She was objective, caring, attentive, and answered questions we didn't know to ask! She was unhurried, allowing ample time for discussion. We can't recommend her highly enough!

had DCIS breast cancer, the surgery (lumpectomy) and radiation successful. Surgeon put me on Tomoxifen which is usual, but I decided to confer with oncologist first (surgeon great but why not see oncologist)Beth listened to family history, i was just in menopause (age 54) her expertise in hematology saved me from taking wrong RX- found \I had a genetic factor to form blood clots. put me on arimidex - no problems 3 1/2 years later. She and staff are great, and really work hard to keep on time - yet she will take time to answer all questions and concerns. Her knowledge is incredible and always know latest developments. My cancer was not critical, but is mine, and could have had tragic results if not put on most appropriate post surgery medication - the five year routine. Surprised how little is available for women not through menopause and who cannot take tomoxifen. SUPPORT the RESEARCH efforts for breast cancer, and all cancers.
