Dr. Beth Patricia Jarrett, MD

Dr. Jarrett was wonderful! I had emergency hernia surgery, due to possible infection. She went in immediately and fixed the hernia, affirmed there was no infection and had a great bedside manner and knowledge of the surgery and post surgical care. I’m doing great and can’t express enough gratitude to her and the entire staff at Maui Memorial.

Incapable of listening, arrogant and smug. I have never previously met a Dr of this quality.

Horrible experience, would not recommend. She seemed very cold and lazy. I would never let her perform surgery on me, I did not trust her at all.

I’ve had 2 EXCELLENT experiences from Dr Jarret: the very first one was when my appendix was about to burst. She was so good and efficient that I had zero pain after surgery. The second time, my husband had to have an exit site for Peritoneal dialysis. She did such a great job that he’s never had any problems, infections or pain. I completely 100% recommend Dr Jarret. She just is The Best!!??

My step-dad had his appendix removed by Dr. Beth Jarrett at Maui Memorial Medical Center and he died 3-weeks later in ICU from complications due to the surgery. Before his passing, he was very healthy & active. We did not chose Beth Jarrett as our doctor. She was the doctor on-call that night. We never heard from her till this day. She started her Europe vacation the day she discharged him. We are still in shock!

THIS DR. SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO PRACTICE!!! I HAD A SIMPLE HERINA PROCEDURE AND WAS TOLD BY DR. JARRETT AFTER COMPLAINING ABOUT NERVE PAIN, NO STICHES WERE USED. I HAD TO GO TO QUEENS HOSPITAL AND HAVE THE STICHES REMOVED. THE DR. AT QUEENS GAVE ME THE STICHES SHE HAD PUT IN. YET SHE TOLD ME 3 TIMES, "I USED NO STICHES" STILL IN AWFUL PAIN AND AWAITING BACK SURGURY TO REMOVE THE 3 NERVES IN MY GROIN!!!! SHE IS THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr Jarrett not only did a lovely job on removing my small bowel obstruction a year ago, saving my life, but she also shared with me great wisdom and encouragement to battle the cancer that had invaded my body. I will forever appreciate her.

Very poor humanitarian skills, and became very defensive when told I was still in great pain and discomfort. Performed a hernia patch procedure and I had 7 months later, corrective surgery, removing several sutures that were causing my nerves to go crazy!!!!!

From my experience, I do not recommend Dr. Jarrett. I went to her office for a follow up after being in the hospital (she was the dr. when I went into the ER) She complained to me about how hard it was for a woman to be a doctor (vs. being a man) while treating me in the ER (after I requested another dr.) I told her something was really wrong at the follow up at her office with my stomach as I felt awful. She said I didn't look sick and stated if I was THAT sick go to the ER. I ended up in the ER a few hours later!

Dr Jarrett performed an appendectomy on me. Afterwards, I was in no pain and had a fast recovery.
