Doctor is courteous- a very nice person. However, the only thing she is good at is writing referrals for a specialist. When a referral is written, patient has to follow up with Bucksport Regional Health Center Staff members to ensure that they actually wrote the referral, or didn't misplace it. Doctor often doesn't know about a diagnosis, or how to treat many medical problems herself. My family and I have been patients here for several years. We are switching. She might do better without the staff and medical center she is with. She's nice, but doesn't know a lot at all. Can't tell you how many times we have had to research our own conditions, schedule our own appointments with specialists when she said she would do it, etc. Not to mention, when diagnosed with a condition, and follow up care is required- she does not ensure that follow up diagnostic procedures (like endoscopy, colonoscopy, blood work, etc) are actually followed through.

She listens to me and offers alternatives as well as willingness to refer you to specelist.I have always good results with her.
