Beth Stanaway, FNP-C, MPH

Beth Stanaway is a certified family nurse practitioner with the UP Health System - Marquette Heart & Vascular Center. Born and raised in Ishpeming, MI, Beth began her healthcare career in public health, earning a Master of Public Health from George Washinton University in Washington, DC. After that time, she was the manager of the Body Donation Program and Forensic Research Outdoor Station at Northern Michigan University (NMU) before returning to school at NMU to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then worked as an RN in the areas of inpatient cardiology, endoscopy and infusion services before deciding to return to NMU once more to earn a Master of Science in Nursing.""I am honored to serve the community that I have lived in my whole life, and am dedicated to providing rural healthcare services. I enjoy caring for patients and talking with them, getting to know them, and making them feel like they have been cared for by someone who has their best interests at heart.""Outside …of work, Beth enjoys spending time with her husband and son, as well as their dog and cat. Together they enjoy golfing, traveling and spending time with family both near and far. Her personal hobbies include reading good books and brunch with friends.
