Dr. Betsy Anne Jacobs

Dr. Jacobs was my Hospitalist when I was in ER and then admitted for several days to John Muir. I am a new-ish resident to Walnut Creek, a widower in my early 80s, and I had no local doctors. Dr. Jacobs was the most thorough doctor i have ever had. Further, she followed up and followed through in helping me find a cardiologist, a nephrologist, and primary care doctor. Since she was acting as my "primary" while I was in the hospital, she did a brilliant job of talking/coordinating all tests and results with all members of my new medical team, while making the time to keep me and my son well-informed and in the loop. Not only that her discharge orders were thorough, clear and caring. If there were a rating here of eight stars ******** instead or only four **** that is what she would receive from this grateful patient.

Dr. jacobs is a kind and patient physician who made me comfortable during a recent illness. She saw me, diagnosed what was going on and set me on a path to recovery. What she has going for her is that she is not just a sweet person, but she is whip smart and knows what she is doing. Her sense of humor is awesome too, so that helped to make the visit easier.
