Dr. Beverley Anne Savage, MD

She was so awful, I wanted the bed tilted back and asked which button I should press, she said can't you read? I couldn't even have a conversation I felt it might make her worse. She was the rudest Dr. I have ever had. She ruined my moment when having my first baby girl back in 2014.

It took me almost two years to write this. She was awful! I had my son two months early. First told me to stay home and drink water when I clearly knew that I was going into labor and sounded so annoyed when I told her I need to come in. She said, fine and hung up on me. She made my first time and only time awful experience. Until my husband said we want another doctor..Bed side manor awful! Rude human!! And she was so rough with me she cut me. Thank GOD Dr. Nathan stepped in. She was wonderful. Savage on the other hand, her name fits perfect!!! If you are planning DO NOT go to her.

My wife opted for natural labor, and Dr. Savage took issue with that. Her first words to us were "you know this is just going to end up in a C-section". Not Hello, or nice to meet you. From there it was a hellish 30+ hours of fending off her scalpel. Every interaction she had with us was confrontational. I finally asked for another doctor to intervene. When they came back into the room she was all sunshine and roses, clearly putting on a show for the other doctor. This woman has no business being in practice. We made an effort to meet with all the doctors in the group (they are all great!) and had no idea that there was one that only delivered. Turned what should have been the most beautiful day into a nightmare we hate to think about.

Dr. Savage was the on-call when my daughter was born and basically turned what should have been a beautiful experience into feeling like an assault. Bed-side Manner- I was 9cm dilated when I arrived, I gave birth to a 10lb baby without an epidural, Dr. Savage came in, sat on the end of the bed to try and talk to me while I had was in the middle of a contraction. I was oblivious to her being there straightened my leg at the pain of the contraction and all of a sudden heard her scolding me not to kick her! This is not the only thing that happened but my review would be pretty long. Her attitude and cold manner ruined the experience of the birth of my daughter, she made it incredibly stressful in a situation where most women are looking for patience and assistance. It's pretty bad when your own staff has to keep apologizing for you. She is an example of a person who is probably incredibly book smart but has zero ability to understand mothers and is in the WRONG PROFESSION.

She doesn't treat the patients with respect. I had my baby at night. Dr. Savage acted like I was inconveniencing her to deliver my baby after three hours of pushing with just the nurse.

Awful experience!! My daughter just gave birth to her first child and was unfortunate to have Dr. Savage on call that day. Her bedside manner was atrocious. She ruined what should have been a beautiful experience. Cold and rude, did not treat my daughter with any respect. My daughter loves the office and other doctors she has seen so this was very disappointing.

She is rude, cold and very demeaning. She makes you feel like an idiot for asking questions and then treats you in such a cold manner she could turn a hot summer day into a frost filled winter day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not once did she follow up with me after two C-sections and no I did not ask for her I had the unfortunate luck that she was on call when I had two of my three children.

I was so sorry when she moved to the North Shore.

Very thorough and professional - she was the on-call doctor that day, but I was glad I had her and not someone else. More compassionate than most doctors.

She was rude and didnt listen to anything I had concerns with. I went to another Dr and ended up needing surgery. I finally feel better no thanks to her.
