I've been going to Dr. Goode on and off since 2000 - That's 20 years! She was a literal God send as I had exhausted what some of the best doctors at Duke could do for me and I was looking at an experimental treatment of chemo as the last and only resort. I was a very sick girl and was also told I would never have children - So it was "We can't do anything for you and don't know how long you will live, you can't have children...hope you don't mind being a guinea pig (literal words) all in the same appt. A neighbor gave me Dr. Goode's name and from the moment I met her, my life would forever change. Within two weeks I had the energy to walk across the room, relative functioning memory and by two years into therapy I was in remission and 100% healthy again. She always asks her patients what they are wanting to come of their treatment with her the first appointment - I said I wanted to feel healthy again and wanted to have children. She fulfilled that and more. I got my health back… and I have two children - something I was told was an impossibility Dr. Goode has a brilliant mind, is compassionate and has a tenacious problem solving spirit. However, this isn't a one-sided endeavor - it takes time and commitment on the patient's part also to realize your health goals. The education she takes the time to give you in the process of your experience will be a lifelong one. He is essentially a 'teacher', but a teacher who also learns from the sick. He gives no autocratic orders, but educates the patient into health. Slaves, on the other hand, are incapable of such reasonable intercourse. The slave doctor's visit is hurried. He "neither gives a servant any rational account of his complaint, nor asks him for any; he gives an order based on empirical belief with the air of exact knowledge, in the insolent manner of a tyrant, then jumps off to the next ailing servant.....(slave) He can have true belief, but cannot know the truth of his belief. He can learn by experience (empeiria) and external prescription. But he can neither give nor follow a rational account. He is therefore susceptible to persuasion. "

Dr. Goode has been my doctor for over 13 years. She has helped me get back to health and taught me how to sustain it. I can't say enough about how good she is. Tremendous knowledge and extremely caring.

Dr. Goode uses so many expenses tests, you'd think she would diagnose and prescribe correctly. Unfortunately, she has set ideas about what your medical problems should be instead of finding what they are. She sells expensive supplements, which is in itself unethical. Worse, she misprescribes medications which is dangerous. It took me a year to recover from her "treatments".

She is Totally arrogant. She recommends all of the tests and vitamins that are very expensive. The staff is constantly changing so they must have issues with how they treat their staff. She is down right rude and I will never return as a patient there. I would not recommend her to anyone.
