Dr. Beverly Lou Harris, MD

I recently visited the Pinehurst NC Hospital ER with discomfort in my chest area. After the usual precautionary checks and balances by the ER physician, I was cleared to leave knowing that no heart attack had occurred. Prior to my departure, I met with Dr. Harris. Her one-on-one discussion included her in depth questioning of my symptoms and life style. During this questioning, she was very engaging and quite frank. She convinced me to agree to being admitted so that I may receive additonal blood work and a stress test to rule out any heart issues. I will admit I was skeptical at first but her genuine medical interest in my issues seemed reassuring. Although the results of their findings cleared me of any heart damage, I am glad she took the time to convince me to stay for additional testing. Dr. Harris exemplifies all the qualities patients seek in a doctor. I wish she was in general practice so I could use her all the time.
