I sat and waited for an hour and a half all the while fighting with my severely autistic child. Only for him to walk in the room and say “ who prescribed all these meds” I said Kaiser which is hey I want a second opinion from you” he immediately said “ STOP” if he has kaiser I can not seee you. IEHP has told me that I wed them 15knin the past because of situations like this. I said well I have a PPO as well. He said “ you can’t oick and chose which insurance you want to use” he said why do you have so many insurances” I said I want to make sure my son gets the best care. He said well I’ll take the PPO but you have to pay 250 to 600 today up front. I said no. So he walked out and said I can’t help you. I took my son to leave and he said you can leave you don’t need anything from me” Never have I been treated like a peasant in my life. I thought having more coverage was a good thing. He was rude and probably been doing this for so long that he doesn’t even know how he interacts with… his one patients. If he were to out a camera on himself he would be diss appointed in himself. All his years of experience and all he cared about was “ he would get paid” I know it’s a huskiness but his approach and delivery method was all wrong. He was not compassionate and didn’t give a care that my son struggled while waiting. He didn’t even apologize for me wasting 4 hours out of my day to drive there for nothing. Seems like he does well with babies but this is not a place for severe neurological issues. A doctor that doesn’t care are everywhere. I didn’t think one like this would be in La Quinta where quality is everything.

If we could give a zero rating we would. Took our 7 yr old to see him regarding seizures. He is by far the worst physician we have ever dealt with. He would not listen to our concerns. He screamed at us not to even consider other options. His way or none. We walked out. He was very rude right in front of our children. Completely disrespectful! I’m glad we are with a different physician now. We are now getting the care and respect we deserve. You will not get this with him.

Do not go to him, you will not see him anyway. He does not have the courtesy to even introduce himself. He will not perform an examination and leaves that to unqualified staff. You will not know what they are doing to you and you could get injured. This is why he is not in the examination room. In the event something bad happens to you he will simply fire his staff person and blame it on them to avoid liability. This is more than you assuming the risk; it is pure negligence on his part. Stay away if you value your health and life.

the best neurologist in the valley hands down

I have seizures and had to find a new Dr when I moved to the desert. After doing some research I decided to go to this Dr. I found him to be rude & nasty. He wanted to know dates & time of my seizures. He got extremely annoyed when I couldn't remember a lot of the things he asked me. I have NEVER been to such an arrogant dr. I don't think he acts this bad with a male patient.

Dr went above & beyond. Feel very blessed to have him.

We had to see this doctor concerning our child. The doctor would only speak toward my husband, and immediately dismissed our child stating that it didn't appear like they had any problem...just by looking. He then was passive aggressive about the fact that our child is on an unpredictable and sometimes odd schedule, and when we explained autism is disruptive to sleep, he blew us off and said 8pm bedtime is what is supposed to happen and then with another passive aggressive comment along the lines of 'but if you think you know best....'. We left with a sour taste in our mouths and have not gone back. The staff is 50-50. The assistants in the back are kind, but some of the ones in the front are a bit off putting. For instance, holding a conversation on the phone while I stand there waiting to give my insurance information. The customer in front of your eyes is the priority, ladies! That is why phones have a hold button!

This a very rude and arrogant man!, No bedside manner, rude to staff and patients. Doesn't listen to your concerns or advices on adverse reactions to medications, gives a hard time refilling your seizure medication when needed. Staff on the phone extremenly rude and not so efficient. Overall you cannot trust your health in the hands of this doctor.
