Dr. Bhagwat Purushottam Patel, MD

I visited Dr. Patel for an annual check-up and a referral for Calcium Scoring Test (Heart Scan). The Heart Scan is done by a hospital. I told Dr. Patel that the Heart Scan was not covered by insurance and I planned to pay it by myself. All I needed was a referral from him to one of the hospitals in the area. He promised me the referral. I provided the hospital’s fax number to Dr. Patel’s assistance. I had to call Dr. Patel office at least five times to make sure that the referral was faxed to the hospital. After two weeks, the hospital called me and told me that Dr. Patel would not provide the referral. I am very disappointed.

The receptionist was rude in welcoming as well as while making the appointment. The doctors were good and very thorough in dealing with my problem.

Exceptional care. Dr. Patel takes time to listen and does a thorough exams. When seeing my other doctors I insist they consult with Dr. Patel before next steps. I trust this doctor!! Sandra is really great will following up on care.

Very nice facility, it is new and clean. Wait time is very reasonable most of the time, sometimes no wait at all. Staff is very friendly. Dr. Patel is the best doctor I've been to overall in terms of practicing skills, knowledge, and bedside manner.

I have been seeing him for three years now, and i have never ever waited more than 30min and that is because they booked me in my appointment wasn't till next week, but they knew i was sick...so he and his staff are very very caring and concerned about their patients-alf
