Dr. Bhawesh Patel, MD

does not care about whats bothering u. constantly rushes me out of his office. i am a cancer survivor. ive been in remission for about 11 years n have had wonderful doctors at mount siani and even st Barnabas hospital but dr. patel is by far the worst doctor ive ever had. i am an amputee he refuses to give me pain medication when ive discuss how much pain im having and how its making me depressed bc im unable to do my daily activities. he also refused to write me a letter stating my limitations and disability. i came into the office complaining that ive been coughing for MONTHS and im wheezing he sends me home with Robitussin to later end up in emergency with an asthma attack. he doesnt go thru my chart. the other day i had low blood pressure n he didnt even acknowledged it. worst of all he wouldnt give me a prescription for a new prosthesis, instead hes sending me to a orthopedic doctor when ive never had to go to an orthopedic doc just for a prosthesis prescription. now im really… immobile till my appointment with the orthopedic doc, to then wait for another appointment to see the prosthesis specialist n then to wait to have the leg be made. we're talking more than three months. :-(
