Dr. Bianca Regina Edison, MD

Office is a nightmare. I went 2 weeks ago with my daughter and waited 90 minutes to be seen. I have another appointment with my other daughter this Friday and they called me on Wednesday morning to cancel after I moved several other things around to accommodate and they cannot see her for weeks. I do not recommend going here as you will wait and then be canceled on. It is appalling and the office does not even care when they cancel your appointments.

Was erroneously billed. Billed for two separate visits instead of one. The billing department was not helpful in resolving the matter. I obtained copies of the medical notes from Dr Edison which documented things that were NEVER done (ex: a physical exam when she never even touched him). She also put him in a short cast too soon only so she could charge us $800 for a brace which ultimately caused delayed bone healing as it was not enough support and did not properly cover the fracture site. Emailed Dr Edison directly and she never responded. I had to go through patient relation services to take care of this matter. They told me billing would be placed on hold. I then paid the bill after the matter was resolved and one month later I received a bill from a debt collector for the amount I already paid. Stay away from all things CHLA. Go to UCLA or Miller's instead.

My daughter was referred to Dr. Edison for a concussion. I was expecting a long wait at Children's Hospital but we were called in by the nurse a few minutes after we checked in and finished the necessary paper work. Once we were in the room, again I thought we'd wait a while to see the Dr. She arrived a few minutes later. She was very professional and efficient in examining my daughter. She explained what a concussion was and explained why she was experiencing her symptoms. She recommended appropriate treatment and we look forward to our next visit with her.

Being a full time work/ school/ and a mother, I believe my time is just as value as everyone else. Dr. Edison's office cancelled my first appointment for my child, 2 days prior to appointment date (Let me say it took 2 month to schedule an appointment) stating the Dr. had personal emergency. A month later (which was the next appointment date available) I had received a call from the office again stating my authorization expired a week ago?? Really? A day before appointment at 4:30 PM?
