Dr. Bijay Narayan Pandey, MD

My mother had to have surgery to remove a tumor. She had seizures after that. She was referred to Dr. Pandey. She had the appt for 2 weeks. I got a call on Friday to confirm her appt on Monday. I called back to confirm the appt to be told that they DID NOT accept her insurance when they were given the information when the appt was made. NOW I am trying to find a neurologist at the last minute. This is AWFUL. I am very disappointed.

I recently saw Dr. Pandey at Spalding Regional Hospital. He informed me he didn't believe in TIA's or Complex migraines. He was sure all such matters were stress and anxiety related. Normally, even when I disagree with a Dr., there is a respect for them, when their opinion is administered in a caring informed way. Unfortunately, this was not the case. My husband and myself felt insulted and frankly his opinions are archaic compared to most other Neurologists.

Gives you 2 minutes of his time, if you're lucky, and hustles you out the door. On every visit. Will ask you a question that doesn't even pertain to you so obviously doesn't spend a lot of time reading his patients charts.

Dr Pandey was through and was more concerned with reducing medication and running appropriate tests.
