Intelligent and perceptive doctor. Understands women's issues. Very polite and professional.

So far three stars for me, as I just made my first appointment. Dr. Billie Jean Pace, MD came highly rated by my Hematologist and Oncologist. I am hoping to find out what my wonderful Golden Age body is doing now days without that stuff called Estrogen..Next memo will tell you what the results were. Thanks

Dr. Pace was my ob Doctor in 1983. She took care of me and my baby even though I chose to deliver at home. I just love her and hope for her the best. She also was my good friend's doctor and we both had great care from this amazing lady.

Dr. Pace has a way of making you feel that she has all the time in world to talk to you about your health concerns---even though you know she is on a schedule. When I see her, I feel as though I'm visiting with a compassionate friend---but one who is highly skilled in her field. She listens. She cares. And she has such an optimistic, joyful attitude. When I was faced with surgery, she gave me all the information and let me come to my conclusion. She didn't pressure or scare me. She treated me like an intelligent woman who wants to be involved in the decision making process of my own health. My friends who walked with me through the surgery and recovery loved her so much they all wanted to make her their doctor as well. The only problem with her is that she has set the standard so high in my life for doctors that no one else even comes close!!

Dr. Pace is by far the most caring and intelligent doctor I have ever been to. She made me feel so comfortable and was sure to explain everything and answer all of my questions. She has a very calming and warm bedside manner. I would recommend her to anyone, she is fantastic.

Dr. Pace is very thorough. She listens to you, makes suggestions, explains what is happening to you and why and does what is necessary to get you healthy again.You leave her office feeling better about yourself and your health. You know you are in good hands.

I went in for a leep and a colposcopy which Dr. Pace performed. I ended up hemorageing and called Dr. Pace for advice. Since she didn't feel like meeting me at the hospital she said 'wait til morning and just use 2 tampons to stop the bleeding' I explained to her that I tried her advise to no avail. I had been hemoraging for several hours at this point. She said I could go to the hospital if I wanted but she wouldn't meet me there. I ended up hemoraging for a total of 14 hours, had 7 procedures to stop the bleeding. It was only after all that had failed and several calls made by doctors at the hospital to Dr. Pace that she finally showed up at around 2am. She attempted to stich me up....twice because she pulled the first set of stiches through my skin. I was so traumatized and had lost so much blood at this point but still at the end of it all she just patted my knee and said I was ok to go home! I couldn't believe how uncareing and non chalant she was about it. I saw the look on the… nurses face when Dr. Pace said this and it wasn't until Dr. Pace left the room that the nurse rubbed my arm and told me not to worry, that I wasn't going home anytime soon. That she would need to pump me full of fluids and wait until I was stable enough to go home. I have never sued anyone and probably never will because I am not that type of person but I do regret not taking further action with this doctor. She just isn't a good person and I hope nobody else had to be at the mercy of her uncareing tendencies. I am not even the type of person who would ever take the time to write something like this but I have always regretted never saying anything about her practice and I saw my chance now so I took it. I hope people heed my advise.
