Dr. Billy Hamilton Cordon, MD

My partner had TURP procedure done by a Fort Lauderdale doctor. A stricture was caused which blocked the urethra and required a corrective surgery. Originally from New York, we visited a specialist there and he suggested doing the surgery in Florida where we live and recommended Dr. Cordon. Dr. Cordon performed the delicate and complicated surgery with superb results. The stricture was completely removed and the urinary flow is now excellent.

In the last 5 years I had Experience with 7 different urologist. I must tell you unequivocally Doctor Billy Cordon is by far the most knowledgeable, caring, Doctor you will ever meet. When you first meet him his caring ways makes you feel that whatever problem you have he will be able to deal with it. He is straight forward and will not do anything that he is not 100 percent sure about. I am bless the day I was referred to him. I am writing because I just had a wonderful medical encounter with Dr Cordon. Since i am also a physician I can write from the perspective of a physician and patient. Consistent with his education at world class institutions and his respected publications in high impact journals, Dr Cordon demonstrated an incredible knowledge and expertise in all aspects of urology. Since I also had a procedure, I am also grateful for his flawless technical skills in a superbly equipped office. Then there is Dr cordon, the person. Dr Cordon is extremely warm, friendly and compassionate working well in this case with an anxious patient. He answered all my many questions thoroughly. All of his office staff follow his lead and are warm, friendly and patient. I am so glad I chose Dr Cordon for the world-class friendly care he delivered. If you choose Dr Cordon for your urology needs, I can unequivocably say you will never regret it. I give him the highest recommendation.

I would like to take this time and thank ddr. Cordon, Billy for the surgery that He performed on me on May. 14, 2020. I haven't felt much better before the surgery. But after that, I have been voiding like I haven't in years. Once again, thank you Dr. Cordon. And also thanks to your team as well. I recently had a procedure performed by Dr Cordon at Mount Sinai in Miami Beach. Owning 3 medical clinics in Dallas I made the decision to fly to Miami for surgery because of his reputation and training. Dr Cordon has amazing bedside manner, the office staff were so eager to make my remote scheduling easy, the patient coordinator made my pre surgery tasks very simple, they have a very comfortable adjacent recovery center that you can stay over night in Follow up was more than I anticipated. I highly recommend and I would make the trip over again to have this experience.

Dr. Gordon is extremely patient-oriented. He is compassionate and goes all out to make sure his patients are exposed to minimum pain possible. He is creative and versatile in solutions to urology issues. Also, he has made sure to be surrounded by a staff that shares his approach to medical procedures.

Seeing Dr. Billy Cordon is a "win win" proposition because as a patient you get an excellent physician and an excellent people person. Dr. Cordon is very pleasant and friendly, answers questions fully and understandably, is very patient and has always treated me with respect as a person, not as a medical chart. He greets me with a smile and a firm handshake. When the appointment begins he is prepared and knowledgeable about me and my situation. He is also very open to discussion of optional treatments or medications. Finally, when I have contacted him at his office he has always responded quickly to my inquiries about my treatment or other matters.

Great! Able to have a very frank conversation related to men’s sexual and urinary health issues with no judgement whatsoever. Very gentle in examination.
