Dr. Bimalkumar P Brahmbhatt, MD

I needed to have a hysterectomy and my doctor required me to get a cardiac clearance. I received this clearance approximately 1½ months from the date of my surgery. Dr. Brahmbhatt knew the date of my surgery at the time of giving me my clearance, he asked this information several times. One week prior to my surgery Dr. Brahmbhatt’s office called me and said that due to my recent blood work they needed to see me again before my surgery. The receptionist could not tell me why I needed to return to the office, and I assumed they just wanted to bill for another office visit, but needing to move forward with my surgery, I complied and visited Dr. Brahmbhatt as instructed. When I arrived, the office was very confused and several different staff members asked me why I was there, which I did not know. All I knew was that I had been called to come back in due to my bloodwork. When finally, Dr. Brahmbhatt saw me, he told me that my previous clearance was too old and that he needed to… give me another one. He started going through my medical history and asked what medications I was taking. I told him that I had no medical conditions and that I took no medication. He laughed at me, inappropriately. When I asked why he was laughing he started shrieking and yelling saying that I had a bad attitude and needed to find a new doctor. His poor staff, obviously used to his god complex and poor behavior, apologized and gave me a copy of the previous clearance in hopes that my surgery could be done as scheduled. I literally had 6 days until my surgery and Dr. Brahmbhatt knew the impossibility of my getting a new medical clearance within that time frame. If Dr. Brahmbhatt had been successful in keeping me from having my surgery as scheduled, we would be having this conversation in a courtroom and not as a review. Fortunately, Dr. Brahmbhatt is just incompetent, or either in great need of billing office visits, as my clearance from before was fine and my surgery was completed as scheduled. I would not recommend this horrible man to anyone I know.

Dr Brahmnhatt is a very good Dr. He takes time going though everything with you and explains the test. I have been see him 8 yrs.
