Dr. Binit Prabhulal Shah, MD

I was referred to Dr Shah by a neurosurgeon in the summer of 2021. Having never been to a pain specialist previously, I wasn't sure what to expect. My experience with Dr. Shah and his support staff has been great. Dr. Shah is very patient and always has another plan for me to try to alleviate my pain. He thoroughly explains his expectations for the procedure and/or prescription medication. The support staff in his office is very knowledgeable, caring and supportive.

They care, take the time to listen. So far, I'm almost pain free from my appt. today. It may not last but I'm hopeful. Thank you.

I'm have 100% confidence in Dr Shah's ability to treat my back and neck pain. I was in a accident two years ago and first came to Dr. Shah after working with three other doctors trying to fix the pain in my neck and back. Dr. Shah quickly diagnosed my problems and began treatments to reduce the pain. He is passionate and very knowledgeable about how to stop pain without the need of surgery. I would recommend for anyone with back, spine or neck pain to see Dr. Shah first before considering any other type of treatment. Thank you Dr. Shah!

I have been on pain meds for 7 years. I wanted to be taken off morphine in a responsible manner. Dr. Shah voided my prescription and told me to me to tough it out with Clonidine. Currently, I am going thru severe withdrawals and it has been nearly a week.

I had been passed to several different doctors while attending there. They messed up my prescriptions and then refused to refill what I had been taking because of their mistakes. Billing is also messed up. I would leave with a $0 balance and then receive bills for months earlier and always had balances upon return. TOTAL CLUSTER

Staff is very unfriendly. I was running late for appointment due to traffic stopped on 77. I called them to let them know. They had said to arrive 30 min. early even when I did the forms on line. I told them I wasn’t going to make the 30 min. early but trying my best to make my appointed time. I arrived 5 min. Later then that time and said they would have to reschedule. I coulld not believe that. I have been in pain for a long time and was really looking forward to seeing a doctor for relief. I was in tears but the staff stuck thier noses in the air and did not apologize or even tried to fit me in. Unbelievable. I thought about it all day and had doubts about even seeing him because his staff was so cold hearted I could imagine what he would be like. I since came home and looked him up and read his reviews. I can now see why his staff is like they are. They are very unhappy people. Fake. Actually two of them as I was leaving in tears said at the same time. “ hope you have a wonderful… day” with a smirk on thier face. Why? How could they be so mean to someone they have no clue about and I had been sitting in my car in traffic for an hour in very bad pain. That was all I needed was to be treated that way. I will cancel my appointment and I pity anyone that goes there. If want mental abuse then that’s the place for you. Replace physical pain with tier mental pain. Shame on them as humans. I would wish my pain on no one but I would like for each of them to feel it just for a few minutes. They would then have some kind of compassion. After reading these reviews I now know it wasn’t me that was the mean one, even though I had a right to be mad. They were just mean because apparently that is who they are. This was also at 9 am so it wasn’t like they had been working hard. Oh yea, there was not one person in the waiting room either. And I also said well when I come for my next appointment I expect the doctor to see me right on time. They said oh we do. We are different here. We see our patients on time. Well, not by these reviews you don’t.

Forget it if you want a good doctor, for pain. This needs to go back to his country and stay; practice there. He had no clue how to treat his patients in the United States, shame on him!! He is an anesthesiologist, not a pain doctor. I am a former patient; he has no clue what he is doing and needs to be reported; of which I am doung now. If you decide to go to him,please do not, You will be making a huge mistake.

I went to this doctor after a car accident because I heard he was good with injections. I paid $3,000 for a shot that did absolutely nothing. When I told him it didn't work, he acted like I was lying and took me off pain meds completely. He was very smug and acted like he didn't care at all. Six years later I am STILL in daily pain. Horrible experience with this doctor. I would definitely not recommend.

He has helped me find relief with the pain from migraines. I have been told that there is no cure for my migraines but Dr. Shah makes living with them more tolerable.
