Dr. Blair Anderson Jobe, MD

I know other people that had problems with the link system when it failed they blamed on the patient. People with the fundoplication nissen that would stop functioning after a year or two first they try to blame on the patient then they attempt to say you have allergies and not issues with stomach secretions affecting your esophagus causing a lot of symptoms. Then they treat you very rudely hoping you go away. I lost faith in this medical team led by Dr Jobe. Not good people.

Difficult staff to deal with, no one returns calls, they leave you hanging as far as test results, and the wait time is insanely lengthy. Also, Dr. Jobe does not perform most of the procedures himself, they are done by residents but the patients are not informed of this until moments before surgery. I expected much more from this world renowned surgeon.

My husband had Esophageal Cancer. None did the surgery.....after that, you never see him. He doesn't spend time with his patient. Doesn't give honest, straight up answers. He is a coward when it comes to laying it all on the line. He sends his interns to do the dirty work, and they don't give you any information either. Poor service from interns when we had to go to the ER. My husband died at the hands of Dr. Jobe and his interns. Jobe didn't even have the guts to come and talk to us, before my husband was released to come home on hospice. After all was said and done and I needed documents, they were not right. They were changed in many pages. Horrible experience. I don't know how he sleeps at night. I still have nightmares, and can't sleep at night.

Sadly difficult office to deal with.

Never available, Posted Cancer info to website and never even called to review beforehand, Terrible -lacks integrity bedside manner and OHHHH BTW If you are diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer GET A SECOND OPINION on treatment and doctors before succumbing yourself to this MOSTER

First time patient and the wait was over an hour to see Dr Jobe..... haven’t even met him and soooooo fustrated.

Without a doubt the surgery to remove my esauphagus due to cancer saved my life . Dr Jobe was everything you would want in a surgeon. I am so thankful , wat he did was nothing short of a miracle !

I was on acid reflux meds for about 12 to 13 years since I was 18. Nothing ever seemed to work except acid reflux meds and after reading about the side effects of those meds I knew I had to do something quick. A family friend told me about Dr. Jobe from a newspaper article and after doing lots of research on him I knew this was the only answer to my problems. I called and they informed me that I would have to wait a month or so to see him but I knew it was going to be worth is. They called me a week and a half later saying they had a cancellation and I was able to get in right away. He could not have been more nice and explained to me that I had to get tested to see if I was a candidate for this procedure and after doing the testing which I will say SUCKS I was informed by him that I was a perfect candidate for the procedure. The procedure couldn't have been more simple. I thought I was going to be sore a few days but I only took one day off work and that was to have the surgery done… and went back to work the next day. I will say that in recent weeks I have been getting heartburn but he did inform me to contact them right away if I was having any issues but atleast its not reflux. I called last week and I know they will contact me this coming week.

My wife had a surgery by him and it was a total nightmare. Apparently she was his guinea pig. He seemed very nice at first. He was willing to help anyway that he could. He did surgery on her that she did not ok. He did bothing but make her problems worse and then after that she went hypothermic, had critical potassium and sgoukd have gone to the ICU considering her other problems. Instead she stayed in recovery at AGH for 8 hours. Not one single person from his team came to me nor my daughter what was going on and how bad she was doing. We did not find outanythi
