Thorough and professional

I have been a patient of Dr. Horio for five years. Was referred to him by my ophthalmologist because I was experiencing huge floaters/ black spots that were obscuring my field of vision. (Otherwise healthy 40 year old - I'm usually the youngest patient there.) Staff is always very friendly and courteous. Dr Horio is NOT going to win Dr. Congeniality award, but he is always polite and he clearly explained diagnosis and recommended course of treatment. My treatment was completed successfully, in a shorter time than he had originally indicated. Follow up visits went from every 3 months to once a year. A recurrence of the problem in my other eye brought me back to Dr. Horio this year. He does't engage in non-essential conversation, but that's OK - I appreciate how focused he is. Usually get called in within 5 -10 minutes of appointment time - often sooner. There is some waiting time once I've been called in, but that's because I get 2-3 different tests before I see the doctor. … I'm almost always in and out within one hour when I have treatment, and even less when it's just a follow-up. This is undoubtedly the most rude, unprofessional physician -- BY FAR -- I have even encountered. I would never go anywhere near him again!

could not be more pleased with Dr.Horio. He has treated me for over a year, and the results are fantastic. I am still under his treatments now, and looking for a full recovery.
