Dr. Blake Jefferson Yerman, MD

Wrong diagnosis. Didn’t care. Then tried to justify his incompetence. Sadly I didn’t care who was at fault when I was experiencing the worst pain of my life.

I hope that this doctor sees this review. I wanted to thank him. I brought my child into his ER. It was a bad day. After breaking the arm on the swing, we were all very anxious.This doctor put our minds at ease. He’s calm demeanor helped us stay calm. He straighten the arm. It wasn’t just a fracture. Thank you so much.

I was seen at the ED by Blake Yerman. I saw him for a total of less than seven minutes at best. He took my own assessment and made it his own diagnosis. I was not evaluated properly nor did I receive the proper diagnostic testing. I had to return to the ED (different hospital) the next day and was admitted to the hospital with severe sepsis and a ruptured gallbladder. I required IV antibiotics and had to have emergency surgery. While I was in the ED with severe pain, the other doctors must have discussed my cases with other staff in the ED. I did not know the name of the ED doctor I had seen the previous day (Blake Yerman). They must have deduced that I saw Dr. Yerman and disclosed my medical information to Dr.Yerman. Dr. Yerman along with the other ED physician then came into the ED where I was in SEVERE pain and told me that Dr. Yerman did nothing wrong. I never reported that he did, nor did I even know his name or what he looked like. Dr. Yerman missed the diagnosis resulting in… my gallbladder rupturing and prolonged days of pain before I could have emergency surgery. A lap chole could not be done due to the severity of the damage and my gallbladder had to be removed the old fashioned way. To add insult to injury, I received a bill of almost $1500 from Dr.Yerman over 5 months after the DOS. My insurance had not even been billed. I then received a text message a few months later demanding full payment or I would be sent to collections. I again contacted Dr. Yerman's billing department and was told that it was a mistake and to disregard the bill. I spoke with the supervisor of the department and was assured this was the case. I have now received a EOB from PEHP indicating that Dr. Yerman will not accept the contracted rate. I went to a hospital that is contracted through by insurance as is Dr. Yerman. The bill remains unpaid. I personally do not owe any of the charges as I had already met my out of pocket maximum. To sum it up. Dr. Yerman's incompetence resulted severe pain and suffering on my part, an enormous amount of medical bills and additional surgeries. Had he only listened to me for more than 2 minutes, he would have (hopefully) recognized the clear signs of gallbladder problems. While I was in misery, he then elected to try and justify his medical incompetence and my personal medical information was shared with a physician that I did not authorize. In addition, he is apparently greedy and will not accept the authorized/contracted fees from the insurance company he is contracted with. I advised you stay clear of BLAKE YERMAN.

I hurt myself and needed a shot and a sliver taken out. I was scared. He was kind. The nurses said he was one of the nicest doctors they have. I know he was kind and helped me. If you are reading this, thank you!

This doctor treated me for an injury to my foot. I was so scared. I had to have a shot. He was so patient and kind. He made the best of an awful situation. The nurses said that he was one of their nicest doctors. I don't know if that is the case but he was nice to me--THANK YOU!

I saw Dr. Yerman in the ER tonight. He saw me quickly, he was kind and found the problem. What else could I ask for.

I saw Dr. Yerman and his staff. I was treated very kindly. There were the usual expected stresses of the ER. I wish he had a private office.

I had an ER visit last night. Dr . Blake was very professional and it was pleasure to deal with him.
