Dr. Blase Nicholas Polite, MD

Dr. Polite is a good example of the Peter Principle. He has been lauded as the top In his field. That is not saying much. My son in law had stage four recital colon cancer and Dr. Polite allowed a procedure on him, that was unnecessary and quickened his death. Steal precious days from his family to say goodbye. By the time Dr. Polite saw my son in law it was obviously he was close to death. Dr. Polite saw him on a Thursday he was admitted to hospital on the same day, discharged on Friday and he died at home Saturday morning at 7:00 am Oblivious to the condition of his 33 year old patient. The whole scenario is so pathetic and reflects badly on Dr Polite and The University of Chicago Mefical Center.

i mom was unexpectedly diagnosed with 4 stage carcinoma of the liver when i came into my mom,s waiting room he was so self centered and did,nt return any of my phone calls. if you have someone you know that,s ill don,t send him or her to dr.polite.

Dr Polite treated my mom for colorectal cancer when she unexpectedly got diagnosed with stage 4 at 51 years old. We were scared and had a many questions. He was short and self-centered. I followed up our initial meeting with an email...never replied back. I wouldn’t send anyone I care about to Dr Polite.

Dr Polite has been treating my wife for Cancer on her Pancreas for the past 23 months. He is very knowledgeable, personable and thorough. He takes all the time we need to explain and answer any questions we have.

Dr. Polite is not a good man. He is self-possessed. He is so centered on his self-image, he fails to understand the grave situation of at least some of his patients. He lacks very basic human decency.
