Dr. Blayne Miller Harris, MD

Unnecessary testing conducted that wasn't covered by insurance. Didn't tell me. Left me with the bill collectors hounding me, despite having top premium insurance at the time. Did not address any of my concerns. Horrible with his communication. This man should not be licensed to treat any type of medical related condition, as he is unable to meet basic needs of patients at the bare minimum. I'm actually embarrassed for TX, as this man should not have a medical license to work with humans. Unable to meet basic criteria needed to interact with patients. Total scammer.

Dr. Harris is not qualified to treat adult patients as he is a child and adolescent phychiastrist . He only seen me once in a span of years of going to Axiom Family Counseling and took me down on off a benzodiazapine from 1 mg. 3 times a day to .5 mg. 3 times a day. This is with a history of severe panic disorder, and also risks of withdrawal seizures. I could have a stroke and die. I have worries. Wish me luck. He treated me like less than a human being.

I changed doctors so that I could find a doc closer to my home. Dr. Blayne Harris is the most unprofessional psychiatrist I've ever encountered. I went to him the first time and left his office *without a prescription* because he wanted me to take a drug test. I waited a week without any meds. He did attempt to make any follow up visits with me. He changed my prescription without explaining anything to me. Do NOT visit his austin, texas location!!!

I've been going to a psychiatric facility for years and I just met him a few weeks ago for the first time. His fellow associates who I usually see but I had to see dr harris because I was running low on my meds and no surprise he was the only doctor available. He took me changed my meds without any knowledge of my history, and his reasoning was that he wasn't comfortable refilling the meds his peers have done countless time. Which is b.s and the fact he tried to justify it. If he wasn't comfortable then he should have told me to see the other drs instead of changing it. Took me few weeks to get in with any of the usual drs there and they thought it was premature of him to alter my meds in the first place and messing with my cycle.
