He did my hand surgery. I was very pleased. Awesome guy.

Did not get to make an appointment with this doctor. My insurance company says that I do not have to have any referral to see him, yet when I called to make an appointment, they said they were JPS affiliated and I had to have a referral in order to get the demographics. I told her I could give her all of the demographics, but she insisted on a referral. I told her my insurance company could confirm that I didn't need a referral, but she insisted on a referral. I cannot afford to take off time to get a doctor referral when my insurance company says I don't need one. I told her nevermind. I will find another doctor.

I have had six surgeries on my hands by Dr. Wroten. All of them have been very successful. My condition is Dupuytren's Contracture. Having researched this disease and its treatment including overseas where it is more prevalent in Scandinavian countries and the UK, I find Dr. Wroten's record to be very superior. He has had almost no cases of recurrence after surgery, and he says he has never cut a nerve. I believe him. These results compare to as much as 50% recurrence with other physicians. People fly across the country to see this surgeon. The difference is that he painstakingly removes all the collagen over the period of many hours. Nurses have told me that keeping up with him during surgery is a challenge because he is so persistent, yet patient with getting all the collagen removed. His attention to detail is unmatched, and he's a nice guy too! As a senior citizen, of all the physicians I have ever met there are three I hold in the very highest special esteem. Dr. Wroten is… one of them. He is exemplary.

Dr. Wroten operated on my wrist and then a year later on my finger. He simply is the best in Texas for hand surgery. I first went to another hand surgeon who then sent me to Dr. Wroten! Dr. Wroten has moved from the address given on his bio. He is now at Texas Health Resources which is adjacent with Harris Methodist downtown.

Dr. Bobby Wroten performed a surgery of a ganglyon cyst on my right hand in 1981. My hand we like new after the surgery and I never experienced any problems with it. I hightly recommend Dr. Wroten.
