Dr. Bonnie Jean Brooks, MD

This doctor is too rushed and always seems to be in a hurry to get in and out of the exam room.

In the past two weeks, I had cataract surgery done in both eyes. The results were beyond my expectations. Not only has my vision improved substantially , but I now can see colors so vividly. Dr. Brooks is extremely pleasant and informative. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation. Beyond the medical results, the overall experience from booking appointments, to the on site treatment, has been exceptional. The staff was wonderful, the facility was beautifully clean and welcoming, and the throughput was very efficient. No long waiting or guessing what to expect. This is, by far, the best run medical facility I have ever been to in my life.

Dr. Brooks is a fine and qualified representative for the eye industry, but on the other hand the staff could use some customer service classes.

Dr. Brooks is a highly qualified and professional doctor. She explains her diagnosis in language that is understandable. Her consistent follow up on eye conditions is highly appreciated. Her demeanor is personal, caring, and expert.

Overall, the doctor was excellent. Her staff is another matter. First of all, they don't bother to tell you that they are not able to accept your insurance until it is all said and done. Then, I specifically requested transitional lens. But of course, I did not get them. I was just told that transitional lens were not ordered. I was informed that I could order them for another 150 bucks. As much as I liked the doctor, I am going to find another, just because of her staff.
