Dr. Scott Helmuth Petermann, MD

My visit with the doctors and staff was fine. My problem is with the optical shop. A month after I got my glasses I fell on rocks and my glasses took most of the hit. I brought them into the shop. I was told they could be fixed. I have left at least two messages because no one picks up the phone in that shop. Apparently they do not answer messages either. It is so hard for me to walk into the shop due to a bad back. What is the problem with that office? As sloppy as the shop is, my glasses could be sitting ready for pickup.

In my opinion, none. In my three visits never addressed me by name. Never spoke to me but rather talked to me while writing notes or looking at machines. His answers to my questions were curt & dismissive. Walks in, does his job, walks out. He did mumble Happy Thanksgiving as he walked out . Saving grace is his staff, they make up for him. I am not looking for him to hold my hand or blow kisses just act like he cares about his job & patients. His skills as a doctor seem fine, maybe he would be better in research not dealing with humans.

Dr. Petermann is a caring doctor who performed my cataract surgery. I upgraded my implants and no longer need glasses for distance or near. I would highly recommend all the Affinity Eye Doctors.
