Dr. Bonnie Murphy, DO

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Murphy. She is warm, engaged, caring and compassionate. Yet she is a brilliant clinician, who can evaluate a medical condition while carrying on a conversation like you are with your best girlfriend. I've been a patient for almost 16 years; I can't imagine having anyone else care for me. Her staff are top-notch; friendly, responsive and accommodating. Every appointment is like visiting an old group of friends. I'd give her 10 stars if I could.

Incompetent and irresponsible prescribing habits. Gave my elderly mother a medication that she never should have been given with her kidney disease. Thank God the pharmacist caught it. He said she should have known better, it's a well known complication of the medication. It's not the first time she's done something like that either, but it was her last chance with my mom.

Excellent Doctor.

I have seen Dr. Murphy for nearly 4 years and she is great. She has a great bedside manner and spends time with her patients. Her staff is another story. I have had problem with handling of my insurance and accurate scheduling. It seems the office policy is, it's OK for the staff to aggravate the patient but when the patient vents to the staff it's viewed as being nasty and the doctor goes along with it! Great doctor, if you can put up with the staff!

Bonnie is cares deeply and is willing to listen to your opinion on your health if you have one. If you saw about or read about something she will take the time to go over it with you. I have been seeing her for over 10 years and she is one of a very few doctors that I recommend often. I have fired many doctor's in the past because you must be able to talk to your doctor about anything and you can with Bonnie. She is one Doctor I treasure, I am a complex person medically and if she is unable to do something she will have a name of another Doctor who specializes in what I need. I have always had good referrals through the years also from her.
