Dr. Boyd Daniel Evans JR., MD

I grew up with a great Pediatrician. So I had high reservations I would find a doctor I felt I could really talk to about what issues I may be dealing with health wise. Dr. Evans is amazing. I enjoy hearing about his personal adventures as well as his insight and encouragement. I have recommended him to some of my friends and I know he can truly bless your lives as a doctor as well. I am a relatively new patient of Dr. Boyd. I have had a VERY BAD experience with his office staff and his availability. His office staff was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. On his recording he announces that he has a same day visit available. But that was not the case. The doctor increased my medications and I was having an adverse reaction to it. I call after hours over the weekend and visited his office on the following Monday. Much to my surprise he would not speak to me, even as I indicated I could wait most of the day. (What happened to the same day visits?) The office told me to go to a walk-in clinic? No one would even discuss my recent blood work with me. I left and they never called back to check up on me. Today, I receive a certified letter from the doctor indicating that he no longer would serve as my doctor. Are you kidding? I find this all too strange and uncaring. I can remember on my first experience the doctor was trying to convince me to go on Medicare, even… though I had great insurance through my current employer. I think he was concerned with his own personal profit and not much more. He was also very much a pill pusher, and never discussed nutrition or prevention. A sad state of affairs.

Dr Bo is one of the best! He takes his time with his patients and truly cares about their well being. He doesn't just throw RX at you and truly cares about treating the problem.

I have nothing but rave reviews of Dr. Bo. Time at the office is a bit more, but it is because Dr. Bo is actually taking time to talk to his patients. In my opinion that makes the wait worth it.

My husband and I have been a patient of his office for eight years and have always had outstanding service. His staff is so professional and Dr. Bo always takes time to spend time with us and offers advice and suggestions on how to improve our health. We don't like to find a new doctor and we are very satisfied with him so I hope our insurance does not require us to ever change. Thanks to Dr. Bo and his office we are in good health! They always work us in if we have a health issue even if it puts them behind.

Went for a follow up visit for my daughters prescription renewal and Dr Evans decided that he was concerned with an over the counter medicine taken in conjunction with her prescription. He didn't want to discuss the situation at all and he didn't have a problem renewing her adderall prescription, he balked over her taking an OTC counterpart for dizziness. It was amazing. He couldn't have cared less about the details of the situation. He already had a referral for his friend and counter part "upstairs" so she could be diagnosed again. My child has already been diagnosed by one of the prominent physicians that covers inner ear damage and vestibular dysfunction. Seems like if it is really a problem, this guy doesn't want to deal with it. However, they are very efficient at making sure your insurance information is up to date.

Dr. Evans needs to train staff to be compassionate. Also, no one doctor is so important that you have to wait over 2 months to get an appointment to see them.

Dr Bo has the best staff, most up to date equipment and he always spent time with us to correctly diagnose any issue we had. His staff was extremely helpful; if I had a question or if I forgot my prescription @ the desk. We were sad when we had to move away as he was our physician for almost 6 years. Dr Bo even returned my call after hours if needed. A true family doctor! We have yet to find a Dr like him to date.

I love Dr. Bo! He is so caring and compasionate. Only down side is that you have to be prepared to wait awhile to see him. He spends as much time with his other patients as he does with me!
