Dr. Boyd Kerry Lowder, MD

I had rectocele surgery and at pre op Dr Lowder was very brief. He knew I was traveling a few hours for the surgery and had no problem with same day surgery. The day of surgery everything seemed ok afterwards, Dr Lowder did not speak to me after but assured my ride everything had went well. The ride home was horrible and i was in excruciating pain. When I got home I could not urinate (because of swelling) I called the office and they told me to go to the ER. Went to ER and had to have a catheter to evacute my urine. Next day called the office again and never spoke to doctor, just was told if it did not get better by next day, to be back in Boise by noon the next day because he was going out of town. That meant another 2 hours drive, which was most likely the cause of swelling that I had problems with in the firth place. My ride was told that all of my stitches where on the inside. While from all the swelling and problem I had stitches on the outside. I was very unhappy with this… doctors care and felt very uncared-for!!!!! I would not go back to him again!

I’d been having worrisome very heavy & long periods. My doc recommended Dr. Lowder and things have been smooth from the start. He was able to schedule surgery relatively quickly and was great to answer questions and thoroughly explain everything. His nurses are amazing, also. I love how their billing department and imaging services are all on the same floor. Saves a lot of needless wandering.

Very caring. Takes the time to answer all questions, with answers that you can understand. Delivered our daughter naturally and was so grateful to have him encouraging me and overseeing the birth.

I've gone to Lowder forb 25 years a wonderful Doctor, great bedside manner very helpful and great knowledge. I wouldn't ever go to another doctor!!!

never see this doctor. He bases his success on how fast he cant get you through his office and how fast he can operate on you. I know several doctors and other who would never send their family to Kerry Lowder. I can't even address him as "doctor", he is so horrible

Love Dr. Lowder! I never would go to another Dr. He is so caring and great in a stressful situation. I went to him with 9 pregnancies, 6 births. So great, can't recommend him enough!!

I have been so impressed with Dr. Lowder. He was my doctor all throughout this last pregnancy and delivered my baby. I highly recommend him!

I absolutely love Dr. Lowder. He did both c-sections for me and it went wonderful! Recovered quickly, and is just a wonderful man and doctor! Highly recommend him!!

Dr. Lowder makes you feel comfortable and special at every one of your appointments. His nurse, Callista, is fabulous. He uses humor to make you at ease, and remembers important details about your life aside from the medical things that he must remember. Also Dr. Lowder is excellent as a doctor in a difficult labor, and saved me from having an emergency c-section with my first baby. I am currently seeing him with my second pregnancy and would highly recommend him!

I could not give Dr. Lowder higher praise. I have never been disappointed in his care over the past 11 years. :)
