Brad M. Goates, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Goates for about 5 years. He has helped me through a broken foot, thyroid issues, back surgery and a recent hospital stay due to renal failure. He called me at 6:00 a.m. that morning to get to the emergency room asap after checking the results of blood work. How many doctors are that caring? Always takes time to listen, which is rare. Recognizes that patients know their own bodies. Refers me to the best specialists. So glad I found him!

He was extremely rushed. I didn't get the sense that he cared about my well being, just about his time and money. It was a physical, and I was a first-time patient. I brought in questions about my health, as I have always done for physicals with other doctors in the past. This was the first time that a doctor charged both my insurance for a physical which he skimped on (no breast exam, no pap smear, no liver panels; he didn't even examine me) and me for an extra office visit just because I asked questions. His policy is that you can't ask questions during a physical, and that is just wrong. He cares more about money than patient health. I am Hispanic.

I have been seeing doctor Goates for quite a few years, and he is AWESOME!! He always listens, he's funny, he's understanding, and I never feel rushed. I started taking my son to him about a year after I started seeing him & he thinks all the same of him....My son is now 19

I have never been so pleased with a doctor and his staff. I always feel like Dr. Goates cares about my families health and follows thru until every health issue is resolved. I love his bedside manner and how he asks my children the questions when it is their appointment. He explains diagnosis thoroughly and answers every question I have until I understand it.
