Dr. Brad Allen Prather, MD

Dr. Prather did hip replacement & added inches to leg. Was told could not be done by others. He did awesome job! No more pain! now on 12/3 he is replacing my right knee that is damaged by walking on it with my right leg being fussed & shorter. Looking for another awesome job!

I had foot surgery it went bad , they told me if i did not have my toe removed I would die from the infection. I did not trust any doctor until I met Dr. Prather all my fear went away he removed my toe and got all the infection out and here I am alive and feeling great, he is the best Doctor and caring person I have ever met

Dr. Prather was an excellent doctor when my husband had his knees replaced. Very caring and takes the time with you that is needed.

Dr. Prather is the first to actually try to get me relief. I sincerely thank him for all he is doing to make my life useful again. I just want to be able to spend time doing the things I love with my husband, grand-children and great-grandchild.

Excellent Doctor and Surgeon

Someone very close had a terrible injury to their leg they were at hendricks country hospital for a week. Dr. Prather performed surgery His staff started that its one worst breaks on Human body it would be Long recovery process. They would not be able to put any weight what so ever on leg at least two months. Here the prob i have After surgery Dr. Prather came and spoke with the family he never visited my family member and never explained anything to them he Also said be best After she gets released from hospital to go to rehab center so they can receive 24hr care and extensive physical therapy well their health insurance said they wont cover them going to rehab center because it wasnt that bad which is not true Dr. Prather never called on their behalf to say that she needs this rehab and to get it ok. Im mad f that he never lifted a finger to fight for His patients rehab and physical therapy. So they were discharged from hospital and sent Home their Home is not Set up for someone in… that condition to get care and help they so desperately need. My senior citizen father cant do this they have to be lifted out bed washed fed everything needs to be done and she is not getting any physical therapy By being at home. I tried calling His Office and Nobody has called me back im disgusted and hurt to that anybody would leave someone like this in this condition.

Dr. Prather is the most caring and personable doctor I have seen in a long time. He knows his stuff and he instills a level a trust from your very first visit. I need a knee replacement and when I am ready, the only Dr. allowed to do that surgery will be Dr. Prather. Until I am ready, he works with me to give me relief every so often with a cortisone shot. Since I just recently lost my husband, Dr. Prather understands why I procrastinate about the surgery and he doesn't judge me or push me. I highly recommend this terrific doctor. He is a star!

I am 69 yrs. old. I have had six surgeries on my knee over the past 30 yrs., two being knee replacements. Four or five years ago, I was told by a different doctor that my leg needed to be removed above the knee. When that doctor took me to surgery to remove it, he instead decided to build me a knee with concrete. Eventually, the concrete broke up and I was in tremendous pain and constantly on pain killers. My wife's ortho. doctor told me about Dr. Prather. Feeling sure that this "new" doctor (new to me) would also tell me that there was nothing else to be done, I made an appointment. Right now, I'm 21 days post surgery with Dr. Prather. I HAVE A NEW KNEE!! My wife and I can't sing his praises loud enough! I would recommend him to anyone! He has tremendous knowledge and is a doctor who will explain things in a way that you can understand. I think those two components alone, make a fantastic physician. We are so impressed!
