Dr. Bradford Lewis Ebright, MD

Dr Ebright has changed and is not the doctor he used to be unfortunately. Recently I fell and have had excruciating back pain. I’ve had to advocate for myself to the point of major frustration as he’s done nothing to help. My first appointment after the fall, the only exam he had me do was to stand on my tippy toes. He didn’t inspect the area, no troubleshooting other than to stand on my Tippy toes. He discouraged me from getting X-rays as he said they wouldn’t show anything which is fine, but I wanted to rule out any possible fractures. Ive had to beg for pain medicine to help me through as my back heals. Eventually he prescribed me 5mg which is the lowest possible dose. I’m a 6’4 330lb man, the 5mg literally did nothing. I called and left two messages as the pain has been so great, he had his nurse call and tell me there’s nothing more he can do. They make much higher doses that could help, yet he says there’s nothing he can do. I’ve never felt so unheard and unhelped and I don’t… understand why he’s become this way. It’s disheartening to have a doctor who when you need them to help you, clam up and become to afraid to do something to keep you comfortable so You can function while your body heals. After this last appointment with Ebright, I’ll be moving to another doctor. I understand not overprescribing, but when a patient is in pain while their body is healing, this is an appropriate time to Prescribe the medicines available to keep the patient comfortable during the interim. I can’t rely or trust in him going forward. -Sam

Dr. Ebright is an incredible doctor. I went in for a routine check up, I was being paranoid about chest pain (which ended up just being a muscle strain). He was very thorough in checking all over to ease my worries, and was able to detect a mass on my liver. He truly is a lifesaver and I trust him will all of my medical needs.

Dr. Ebright takes as much time as you require to discuss your medical concerns and condition. He answers all of your questions with respect and shows sincere interest in your health concerns. As a general practitioner he is willing to write referrals to other doctors with specific areas of expertise to address your medical concerns. If you need a physical it takes a significant advanced appointment to get to see him, but for other, more immediate needs and concerns he is readily available.

It has been several years since my one and only visit with Dr. Ebright, but I would like to warn prospective patients. I had hurt my back, and before examining me, or taking x-rays, Dr. Ebright accused me of being a "junkie" looking for paint meds. At this point, there hadn't even been mention of any medication or treatment. Needless to say, I left the office in tears!

Staff was friendly had no problem getting a same day apt for my sick daughter. Dr. Ebright is the BEST!

This is the BEST doctor in Perry Hall. He really takes time with me and my family.
