If I could give him no stars I would but this is taking more courage for me to write and come out after even since 2019, Wednesday, November 6 @ 8:16am I had an appointment to have a pea size lump aspirated from my left breast. I was prepped, laid down on the table he raised it to a very specific position & level, do you understand and he was wearing a long white coat- he pulled me so close that he had my right arm and hand trapped and pinched. It hurt so badly, I knew what was happening, ( I'm a rape survivor from the past,) he got off inside his pants & was rubbing so hard on my right arm & hand; while doing a procedure with a needle inserted in me and an ultrasound Machine on my left breast. This procedure too all 21mins, he left after his 'business' procedure, the nurse bandaged me - I tried to grab the nurses arms as tears ran down my cheeks, she stated they would call me if any further questions. Shutting the door, I got dressed, stunned and in slow… motion, like what just happened to me, I went out and right there on the second floor when you come out is the nurse station and not one person was there ! A pin ?? could drop and you would hear it I ran for the exit and ran to my car . Yes I reported it but NOTHING came to be of it, I reported him to the Wilmington health board of directors, and the medical board of North Carolina. Has anyone else had this happened to them? Be aware of this surgeon. The devil is in all shape and sizes . I protect myself now , I have a K9 that goes with me everywhere anytime any place now and this K9 is my 'safe' person and protects me now . FYI , no one will ever touch me wrong no more.

Went to Oconee Medical Emergency with life threatening blockage of my Colon. Immediate response to stabilize and then tests to do the surgery. Bottom line. He saved my life. Successful surgery and follow ups was accomplished. Now working on planning stages to reconstruct what was removed. This is someone I trust. I spent 9 days in the hospital to get to know him. He was there every day. Still getting to know his staff but they have been great so far.

This is my third contact with Dr. Tyler. He is knowledgeable, and is very matter-of-fact in manner. I appreciate the fact that he talks to me about the circumstances of my visit as if I might be able to understand the medical lingo. Overall, I think very highly of him as a surgeon.

No recommendation from me. After being through life threatening surgery and my health insurance paying close to $100,000 for surgery and hospital expenses, we had unnecessary problems trying to set up follow-up appointments. The office staff is extremely discourteous and argumentative when trying to re-schedule or verify appointments.
