Dr. Bradley R. Keel, DO

Dr. Keel is awful! I was seen in Memorial Hospital E.R. By him. I was having severe throat pain, trouble swallowing, and breathing. He came in and did a strep test and an X-ray and told me it was in my head but then prescribed me 3 different medicines that were not only dangerous but not beneficial to my medical problem. I followed up with my doctor and she sent me to a gastroenterologist and I had an upper G.I performed which showed I was full of esophageal yeast, which is dangerous. Had I not trusted my intuition and instead took his uneducated medical hypothesis, that my problem was all made up in my head, there is no telling how sick and how much worse my health would have declined. If you find yourself in the emergency room, think twice before trusting this man.

Coming to the ER for answers is what you hope for. He told me a diagnostic scan was clear, even though I had not had that type of scan and once confronted he became very upset and sent me home with no diagnosis. He is not very knowledgeable when it comes to rare diseases and the correct protocol for them. Once I reported my visit to the hospital administrators they apologized and advised me this was not the first time. If you are going to work in the ER you MUST keep your education up to date and stay on top of proper protocols!

I don't like the fact that my son wasn't able to get his prescription because Dr Keel didn't put his DEA number on the prescription form. Other than that he's a good doctor & yes I'll have him as a doctor to go to again.
