Dr. Bradley J Logston, DO

I've been debating on doing this review for awhile now and finally decided to. I want to start by saying that I'm happy so many woman have had great experiences with him but I on the other hand had one of the worst experiences. He seemed pretty nice when I met him at my first appt at almost 14w (I had to switch doctors due to insurance even though I absolutely loved my first) anyways after he said hi we got to talking about my first birth experience and how I ended up with a csection due to my sons heartrate dropping but this time around I wanted to try for a VBAC. This is where things went sour. He told me that my chances weren't that great (without even asking any important questions.) Therefore I should do another csection. I was taken aback by the information and then he proceeded to tell me that he would lose time with his family if he tried to do one and that he would also lose money and not be able to pay his staff or see his patients when I was in labor. At this point I was… just crying because instead of just saying I'm sorry I don't preform VBACs he was trying to guilt and shame me into having another csection because he didn't want to do a VBAC. He tried just about everything besides telling me he just doesn't do them. Even asked me why I even wanted to try for one and why I was so against just giving in. Trying to tell me that I must have had PPD with my son among other things. Basically I felt beaten down by him. Then he brought up some tests I knew I couldn't afford at the moment and I would like to speak to my husband first about so I didn't wrack up a huge doctor bill and he made me feel like a terrible paremt for refusing so I could speak to my husband first. To make matters l worse when I fianlly got to the point of the appt when they use the fetal doppler he couldn't find her heartbeat (which I could find on my own at home. My last doc showed me how to use one and what to listen for). Anyways I ended up having to do an ultrasound. Which in the long run was fine because at this point I really disliked him and have no faith or trust in him. Of course after that they were trying to get me to come back for my next appt while also forcing a different test on me which I finally gave in on because I just wanted to leave. (I was charged for that test and never received the results) needless to say I refused to go back and found a doctor that is WAY better and also allows me to deliver at the trios hospital because kadlec would have forced me into a csection. The doc I'm with now said there is absolutely no.l reason why I cannot try for a Vbac. So I see Dr. Logston as an incompetent very RUDE doctor and will never recommend him to anyone. Nobody should be treated the way he treated me that day.

I would not recommend him if you need high risk or need to ask questions at all or have kids,he does not have patience whatsoever if you have to take your kids to your appointments with you because you’re a stay at home mom he will kick them out and yell in front of them, also he will not believe anything you say and dismiss everything even if there is medical proof, will get annoyed if you call for after hours help,he told me he hated that I called too much but sometimes being pregnant you have questions in emergency situations, is not good with people who have anxiety or any other mental issues,very rude overall also I am allergic to adhesive it was on my chart but he did not believe me and used it for my csection had such terrible hives for weeks after, also said If you into labor at 33weeks he will not stop it,please go to a different provider he will just stress you out and you don’t need that while pregnant

I was looking for a physician that would see me soon. I was in terrible pain and had been to the ER twice. I called many offices and wait time to be seen was over a week. I was in so much pain and did not want to go back to the ER. I called Dr. Logston office and the receptionist was very kind ad understanding. She got all of my info and even offered me an appointment the same day. When I arrived I had just a couple of papers to fill out and was taken back within 5 minutes of finishing the paperwork. The nurse who took me back was so nice and made me feel so comfortable. The nurse sat with me and reviewed my medical history with me. I didn't have to fill tons of paperwork like other Dr. offices. The Dr. came in within a few minutes of the nurse leaving. He was very kind and down to earth. He spoke my language. He was able to explain to me in normal terms and answered all my questions. I really had a good experience with this office and highly recommend Dr. Logston
