I think Dr. Paddock could use some mannors and should try and show some interest in his patients. He didn't listed to everything I had to say and I felt like I was putting him off. I will not go back to him in the future. Staff was great but they didn't seem like they were happy or relaxed.

Overall, I was very happy with my visits to Dr. Paddock's office. It is a bit difficult to get an appointment unless you schedule it way out, but he's a trusted and respected Dr., (and a nice guy) and I would definitely recommend Dr. Paddock to anyone...

We Highly recommend this doctor. This doctor is worth the wait!! I always bring a good book when I have any Dr. appt because I always have to wait in any doctor's office. Dr. Paddock performed 2 surgeries on my husband when he was diagnosed with cancers that could only be removed surgically and would not respond to chemo or radiation. Today my husband is cancer free. He is a direct doctor and wants to know what's going on with the patient and from the patient. Alot of local professionals shared stories of his surgical successes. When we went to other specialists in the city, my husband felt like a number and did not have confidence regardless of their prestige. He lost heart in his recovery when he was rushed through the grind of the supposed "Best specialists" for this type of cancer. The staff is polite however we go there for his care and expertise.

I saw dr Paddock for a hearing problem which turned out to be the result of a virus that was circulating in the area. I think I did very well considering how some others faired. I attribute my outcome as a result of Dr Paddocks experience.My wife had some surgery to correct a deviated septum and she too was satisfied with the results.The area has a population of about 15,000 - 20,000 and he doesn't have much if any competition explaining the reason for long office waits. Given the fact he is a specialist and all the patients that need his service, sometimes patience is a virtue. It beats the 40 minute ride to Albany or Utica. Lets just say he gets the job done. Gloversville is in the leather region of NYS and given it's depressed state,many folks just don't have the resources to go elsewhere.
