Dr. Bradley Radwaner, MD, FACC, MD

I wasn't going to leave a review for Dr. Bradley Radwaner since I had a bad experience and wanted to just forget about it. However, The New York Center for The Prevention of Heart Disease kept emailing and texting me to leave a review, even after I asked them many times to take me off their list so here goes. I had a very similar experience as one of the other reviewers here. Dr. Radwaner ran over an hour late for an appointment without any explanation. During our appointment, he ran many diagnostic tests without ever going over what my out of pocket expenses would be. I paid a few hundred dollars up front and assumed that he was going to accept whatever else my insurance company was going to pay him since this is what he did for a past visit. To my surprise, a few months later, I received a bill for $3,082. I contacted Dr. Bradley Radwaner regarding not being informed of any of these costs in advance but he didn't care. He only stated that the services were rendered and therefore… I'm responsible for the payments or they will be sent to collection. Perhaps he just assumes everyone who goes to a doctor in midtown can just pay whatever he asks. This is not a way to run a business. He needs to give the courtesy of going over the out of pocket costs with patients so patients can make an informed decision and give consent. If you don't want to be surprised with an unexpected bill for thousands of dollars, do not go to this doctor.

I found Dr. Radwaner online and was super impressed with his credentials. I was looking for a good cardiologist around my work in midtown Manhattan, because I had high cholesterol (but no other health issues) and wanted to see how it can be addressed. I saw the doctor twice. The first time the receptionist explained that I must pay $450 in advance and my medical insurance would be billed afterwards, and I agreed and paid before the visit. The doctor seemed to be very knowledgeable and attentive, and collected my blood to be sent to outside labs (the cost of which was covered by my medical insurance). Before the second visit I was told that it would cost $650 and I had to pay it before the doctor saw me, which I did. During the second visit we went over my blood results in detail and the doctor performed a sonogram, echocardiogram and ultrasound on me. Several days later I received a bill in the amount of $4280. I tried calling the office multiple times to get the explanation of… how an hour with a doctor and a few diagnostic tests could cost over four thousand dollars, but there was no clear explanation of that or even why I needed these tests. I was told to work with their outsourced billing provider. Back and forth with their billing team yielded no results. Ultimately I guess they got paid by my medical insurance and reported an unpaid portion of $1805 to a collection agency and stained my perfect credit. The bottom line is this doctor and his practice is a business and they perform tons of unnecessary tests and charge you crazy amounts of money for it. Just beware!

He spent enough time with me and answered my questions. gave me recommendations on how to proceed. Look forward to being in his care.

arrived 15 mins early to my appt. had to wait nearly 2 hrs because dr was not there when i was scheduled to see him. then he took 2 patients who were scheduled prior to me. so he makes everyone wait an average of 90 to 120 minutes past appointment time. very unprofessional. something is not right with him and his staff. runs his prsctice out of a facial care spa. seems to sublet a day or two each week. very strange. i wull not be back

He came in one hour late, with no apologies. Unprofessional behavior, yelling using profanity at the staff infront of everyone present. That was very scary and rude! He is very loud. Seeking other professional MD, ASAP.

Dr. Radwaner is a terrific doctor who takes care of my entire family with authority and integrity. He is the best!

Dr. Radwaner is a supurb doctor in whom I trust my life and health care needs. He has incredible knowledge and integrity.
