Dr. Mines is extremely professional and made me feel very comfortable. He was quick to make reasonable recommendations and kept up with my care every step of the way. Cannot say enough good things about him - he’s awesome!

Dr. Mines has always been prompt in returning my calls & in the office. He takes the time to answer all of my questions. So attentive when giving instructions for after care and made sure I knew what the next steps were. I highly recommend him to all those who ask!

Dr Mines is an absolutely wonderful doc to work with. I have worked with him on two different injuries and multiple visits. He is knowledgeable and obviously cares for his patients- excellent bedside manner!! He treated my issue and got me back to my life. I have Referred several of my friends to Dr. Mines as well and they have been thankful. Emory is a large healthcare system and Dr. Mines makes me feel like I am valued as a patient.

Had a great experience with Dr Mines. He is patient and listens to concerns and I have no idea why others have left negative reviews. I’ve referred several friends to him and all have had a great experiences with him as well!

Personable.But must be over worked over 8 days to get Mri Results.. Just unacceptable for Emory and his office. Its not their knee so who cares.

I thought Dr. Mines was very good at explaining things to me and answering my questions. I've been 3 times, and have had no issues with the billing. I followed his prognosis and I'm almost fully recovered from a broken arm

Dr. Brandon Mines charges an hourly rate of $13,200. I say this because he did no tests, xrays, examinations himself. He spent 5 mins in the room with me and then billed my insurance $1,200 for SURGERY, of which I'm responsible for $250. I didn't have surgery nor any invasive procedure. He was only in the room for 5 minutes. How does that merit a $1200 charge? I asked them to review it and their fraudulent office said that, "yes, a surgery charge was justified". FRAUD If this wasn't bad enough, the advice he did give me in the 5 mins that he was in the room kept me in the boot 1.5 months longer(!!!!). After 3 months of no running, numerous arguments with the billing staff over a $1200 charge, and trips to another doctor, I would not recommend that any living being schedule an appointment with him.

Nice doctor, but the office, the diagnosis, and the billing process are not in alignment for the price.1. Completed most in-depth patient history form ever on tablet PC (good), only to realize doctor was unprepared coming in to the examination room. 2. Doctor recommended no imaging following 15-20 mins of patient history and rendering of diagnosis (PFS and PT for 6 weeks). Turns out doctor is published as a guru on PFS ('Runner's Knee') and argued it's one of the most under-diagnosed issues. Trouble was I had not been running or seriously active leading to pain. I sought a second opinion, thankfully, and am getting treatment.3. Received bill for an 'extended visit' despite this level of service and time spent with patient.4. Calls to the office concerning bill took 2 weeks to return, and the person from 'patient advocacy' at Emory didn't have the first idea of this concept. The best Orwellian term I've encountered in a while.5. The report from the doctor cites no quantitative… measure of care (i.e. time spent with patient, measure of pain, etc.). It's all qualitative (medium amount of time spent). Kudos to their pricing and legal departments, but I won't be going back to Emory so long as I'm conscious.Finally, if someone recommends you see Dr. X when calling in, don't let the front desk convince you otherwise.

I had few choices on doctors for sore foot from running with my HMO. Dr Mines took me in right away - which was great as I was training for a race and needed to see someone quickly. The office is big, but they were efficient with me and I was in to see the doctor in no time. Both Dr Mines and his assistant were very thorough and spent a good deal of time to diagnose my problem. They listened to me and I had plenty of time to get my questions answered. For a big office I did not feel rushed and felt the care I was given was personable. Recomend to anyone needing sports med doc

I was pleasantly surprised, and did not wait but only ten minutes to get seen. I was also coming in from another doc who misdiagnosed me, and Dr. Mines took care of my problem right away. He also listened and took time with me. His assistants were also great who casted me, and everyone I encountered, from the front desk to the doctor himself, were fabulous. World class care and I would highly recommend him to anyone. I am on the road to recovery and look forward to walking again in the next few months. Excellent!
