Dr. Brandon Ray Scott, MD

Really, the whole operation was smooth. I was able to schedule an appointment with Dr. Scott within 3 days of calling and all of the paperwork was made available online to complete before the appointment. When I got to the clinic, I spent less than 5 minutes in line, checking in, and paying copay. There was a 10 minute wait for x rays, which probably took 10min total; then another 15 minutes waiting in-room before speaking with Dr. Scott and his PA. Really reasonable durations for waiting. I found the Dr.’s questions to be concise and well-organized to integrate information from the time of injury-onward. He described to me which structures/tissues were damaged, their significance to walking/standing, and healing time. This led to a discussion of a treatment plan, which was the most positive part of my interaction with Dr. Scott. He was cooperative and open to letting me decide what was best for me. He provided general guidelines for optimal recovery, example modalities, and a… reasonable timeline for recovery. He also made himself and his team available for an open-ended followup, based on my own assessment of my progress.

Dr. Scott was helpful in my wrist surgery, and seemed competent in his abilities & knowledge. My injury was fairly straight forward, (displacement of both radius & ulna, requiring a plate) but I particularly was appreciative of his help finding an OT with experience.

Dr scott is a excellent surgeon an.he is is excellent communication and very friendly. Would recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Scott listened, is thorough and made great recommendations. I really appreciate the time he took with me.

Very Satisfied with Dr and Staff. Dr Scott performed 3rd reconstructive Surgery on Dad's Broken Femer after infection caused a failed first repair. We're very pleased with - in hospital and followup care. Great help by staff helping with medicare approval /getting Big Man's wheel chair...

Kind and knowledgeable

Man I really wanted to like this doctor. I’m not sure why my experience was so incredibly opposite of everyone else’s who left reviews, but it was. I came in for him to take a look at my broken collarbone. The first appointment was fine - he said I might need surgery I might not & at that time it was looking like I didn’t because the bone wasn’t displaced. Some of my questions he responded with a shrug. Next appointment I come in thinking I’m healed, & the x Ray shows the bone collapsed on itself which is what he had told me would require surgery at the previous appointment. I asked if he thought the collapse of the bone meant surgery like he said the last time, & he shrugged in response. Asked him a few more questions& every response from him was a shrug. I left feeling confused, scared, & unsure of what to do. He gave me absolutely no information to work with & basically said it might heal it might not, surgery is up to you. Today I went in & saw another orthopedic doctor for a… second opinion, he was very caring, did some strength / stress testing, & informatively explained that I would need surgery & how the process would work. I left feeling much better knowing there is an end in sight to this experience, & honestly quite bitter that Dr Scott hadn’t been nearly as caring with me. I sincerely hope he reads this & takes this into account for his next patients.
