Dr. Brandt Thomas Wood, DO

I've been a patient of this facility since conceiving my youngest child, who recently turned 27 years old. Dr. B. Wood is only my 2nd physician here, because my OB (birth doc) retired. I can't remember having any significant complaints/issues, but if there was any they were successfully resolved. At this point, my only concern is that Dr. Wood may retire before I no longer need GYN care. ??????? I've made referrals to friends who've had great success here as well. You owe it to yourself to become a patient of this awesome team. Wishing you good health.

Amazing ?? very professional and fast

Horrible I saw him for a second opinion on an abnormal Pap test. We did the colposcopy and he took 3 brush samples. One of which he dropped and the last one was so bad, he did it harder, longer and repeated with the same brush on my cervix 2 times. It was unbearable I became faint, sweating and dizzy. I felt I wanted to pass out and throw up at the same time. I felt so much anxiety I just wanted to run out of there. And the smirk on him and the nurses faces gave me creepy on purpose vibes. I will not be returning I just pray my cervix stops hurting bc it’s on fire. I have NEVER hurt this bad and I have a child. It’s sad people have the power to hurt you and not even consider how you feel. Mind you my 9 yr. Old witnessed it and said he just look clumsy and rough mom. Thank GOD she was there. She helped me get ready so we could leave. I almost fell and she graced my fall. This is traumatic and Im wishing I never went now. A man dr. Is inconsiderate of your body or his lack there of… respect for you feelings.

I met Dr.Brandt Woods and hes amazing wife both beautiful people I cant describe the feeling of gratitude I have towards them im a single mom also expecting a new miracle in my life and with all the life struggles I have one day he came into my life and changed it in 10 minutes he gave me sooooo much more then what I could ever imagine him and hes wife are just angels and I wish I hope he'll be the one helping me bring my bundle of joy into this world I f I could give him 100 ?? s I would thank you so much and forever grateful for meeting him and hes wife

I saw Dr. Wood when my normal doctor was unavailable. I had a follow up appt with him after and ED visit and i felt extremely rushed. He didn't educate me much on what he was telling me and acted like I was a burden for being there. He made me feel like I was wasting his time.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING DOCTOR!

Dr. Wood delivered my first child by c-section after a failed induction. I was never given any warnings about what happens if an induction fails and how it leads to a c-section. I was also never warned about the risks associated with a c-section. I went to see him again after I found out about baby #2 and I told him I wanted a VBAC. The ONLY words out of his mouth regarding a VBAC were, "There is a 1% risk of uterine rupture, so it's small but very serious. You don't have to decide now." Unfortunately for him, I HAD already decided on a VBAC. Why didn't he give me the risks (even the 1% risks) associated with a repeat c-section? It's not like the doctor's warn you about 1% risks associated with any pregnancy. I had no idea there was such a thing as a failed induction with my first. I know for a fact that my insurance paid more than twice as much for a c-section than they would have for a vaginal birth, and I also imagine a c-section is much more convenient for the doc than waiting… hours for a vaginal birth. Extremely disappointed with the way I was treated and how rude and arrogant he was. The other doc's in the office are much better though. I would never go back to this office.

I have been seeing Dr. Wood since my son was born. He is a compationate doctor and cares about my needs. However, he does schedule a few patients at the same time making your office visit a little longer than expected and the wait was a little long for a first appt of the day. Overall, he is a great doctor and is very funny.

He acted like I was wasting his time and that what I was feeling was a joke and smirked the whole time I was in the exam. He did not address my concerns at all or provide me with other options in dealing with pain. This is the second time seeing this doctor and I never want to see him again!
