Dr. Brandy Ann Panunti, MD

She was very good at asking what seemed to me the right questions to learn about my condition at my first visit. I have been under her care for a number of years and I feel very comfortable under her care. I plan to stay under her care for as long as I need to.

Dr. Panunti was not all concerned about me - the patient. She ignored my description of my symptoms and my concerns. She disregarded all of the preparation that I'd spent getting ready for my appointment. I felt very invalidated and humiliated. She is, indeed, very arrogant. She treated my complex medical problem strictly based on the result of one test. She refused to listen to me or my concerns. A very poor excuse for a doctor.

I seen this doctor because I was an Employee at Ochsner at the time, I was so dissatisfied with her. First of all I made an appointment and had to wait 3 months for an appointment with her, and when I see someone its her assitant. I had a list of things wrong with me, and all he was worried about was what was my worst symtpoms and pretty presistent I had Diabetes and sleep apnea and nothing else(none of my symptoms pointed that way, and blood sugar on all blood work is excellent) She came in for about 10 mins and told me at this point this is nothing she could do for me, but when I start feeling bad again to message her on my ochsner. My blood work was old, my ultrasound was old; no test were repeated. All they were worried about was diabetes and sleep apena. I wasted gas and money on that trip, wouldnt recommend her to anyone with problems. Hope this helps someone looking for a endo make up their mind.

I saw this doctor after a referral from Dr Nathaniel Winstead, a GI doctor I like and trust. I could not have been more disappointed in Panunti. I refuse to refer to this woman as Doctor. I had been experiencing odd, debilitating symptoms resembling insulin resistance when I saw her. I've seen two other endocrinologists, and the appointments were detailed and lengthy. This was 5 minutes. She looked over some previous lab results, then I explained my situation. I asked about some unexplained weight gain and she said "I don't know." I asked about my life altering symptoms, and she said, "I'm not the doctor for that." I was sitting in what is portrayed as a top hospital, and this woman cant even make a referral to someone who might be able to help? Without asking if I had any other questions, she got up and left. I meant to file a formal grievance but never got around to it. To be fair, she does have some positive reviews and a positive endorsement from a doc I trust, but my experience… was the opposite. I don't plan to return to Ochsner ever again due to the experience. An accurate diagnosis? Try no effort at a diagnosis.

It's too hard to get an appointment with this doctor. She's great but who can wait three or four months to see a doctor. I had to make an appointment with an associate, and I STILL have a two-month wait. NEW CEO - YOU NEED TO HIRE ADEQUATE STAFF (DOCTORS AND SUPPORT) OR YOU WILL REALLY SEE A DECLINE IN YOUR BUSINESS.

My husband was able to get an appointment with Dr Panunti within 24 hours! She treated us with so much care, patience and follows up with us repeatedly. She educated us on my husbands condition and is currently still in the process of treating him. Her staff is just as kind and just as informative. A doctor who "knows" what she's doing!

She was very thorough with me. I was very pleased with her care and knowledge.

5 minutes after my appointment it's doubtful Dr.Panunti would have been able to describe me if forced to. That's because she spent the time staring at and typing into her laptop. She never touched me once. Being she works for Ochsner, she did manage to order tests which had recently been completed at another Ochsner dr's behest. So instead of asking a colleague for results, she ordered another test. Dr. Panunti will not send you a refill rx, or call a pharmacists. Instead she expects pharmacists to send her a fax requesting a refill rx. As if they work for her. She is arrogant and rude and disrespectful, and her staff follow her lead.
