Dr. Branislav Cizmar, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Cizmar for 9+ years. He is a great physician. Attentive, kind & always keeps the pt first. I have had a few procedures by Dr Cizmar, the outcomes have always been favorable, thanks to him. I will always have him as my Doctor. Thanks Doc

He accepted me as a patient in my second trimester when not many other doctors were taking me. He also flipped/turned my daughter before she was born because she was breach. He knew what he was doing.

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Cizmar. He was the doctor on call when I was delivering my daughter and he did such a great job that I switched to him when I was pregnant with my third baby. I had a wonderful pregnancy and delivery in the care of Cizmar and when I went to my six week check up I brought my newborn with me. At first I wasn't sure about this but my husband told me "He should get to see how the baby is doing." It was so awesome! Dr. Cizmar was so happy to see my baby. When the exam was over he asked to hold him. So sweet.

His was the worst bedside manner I've experienced with a gynocologist! Made me wait over an hour in room for biopsy results that he didn't realize had been botched so we're inconclusive. Then had me in stirrups after exam with my body exposed to a learning intern(who botched painful biopsy by the way)the whole time we discussed my options.

Most horrible delivery. Dr. Cizmar kept stitching after delivery after epidural wore off. Did not care, kept sewing even after nurse told him about the pain. shouldnt even be practicing medicine...

I was referred to Dr. Cizmar by Rachel Krochmal, PA (they work together in the same office). He was very professional and very friendly. He performed outpatient surgery on me. I had full confidence in him.

Dr. Cizmar is a very professional and capable doctor. He listens to his patients wishes and doesn't try to push an agenda. My wife and I had our other children by midwife, but needed some pain management because of a bulging vertebrae disk. She was concerned about the C-section centric attitude exhibited by most OB/GYN's, and wanted to have an otherwise natural (Vaginal) birth (had full natural midwife births, but because of bulging disk, my wife needed an Epidural). Dr. Cizmar's vaginal delivery technique was incredible, and I would say very similar to the techniques used by Midwife's. He never brought out the scalpal as a 'point of procedure' as most doctors will, and was overall very comfortable and competent at delivering a baby vaginally. It's amazing how many OB/GYN's might be very capable at C-sections (where they make ton's of money), but are terrible at vaginal births. It's one of the reasons which drove us to a Midwife in the first place. With Doctor… Cizmar, you can know that if you express your desire for a natural birth that he will do all he can to ensure that happens, and when the time comes, he is more than capable and competent at delivering a baby vaginally. It's a skill rarely seen these days with most doctors. If you've ever seen the skill of midwife's in delivering babies, you would know why it's impressive to say how skilled Dr. Cizmar is in this regard.

Dr. Cizmar is an excellent physician/surgeon. He is thorough, thoughtful, FOCUSED, HUMBLE, EXCELLENT listener. He is a man who obviously enjoys his work and strives to be the best. Very kind and patient, very much cares about his work and his patients. He always gives me his time and utmost attention. He always makes certain to answer any and all of my questions. Itâ??s clearly very important to him that his patients have a clear understanding and are at ease. Dr. Cizmar performed a successful total hysterectomy on me. He was brilliant, making certain I was properly taken care of, that I was given anti-nausea medication so that I wouldnâ??t vomit after surgery, which worked!!! He managed to only make three little incisions to successfully perform the procedure as opposed to the commonly used four incisions, which means less marks/scars on my body. AWESOME! Wonderful man, wonderful surgeon. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Cizmar. And I do not say that lightly as I have had,… unfortunately, lots of bad experiences with doctors and surgeons in the past. Dr. Cizmar excels high above the rest. Not only do I highly recommend Dr. Cizmar, but I also highly recommend North County Womenâ??s specialist. All physicians and staff are outstanding and a delight. Nurse Practitioner Rachel Krochmal and her Assistant Lorena have given me fantastic care over the past 5 or so years. Nurse Practitioner Rachel Krochmal recommended Dr. Cizmar to me to do my hysterectomy. They all are quite a fabulous team over there at North County Womenâ??s Specialist!!! A really big THANK YOU to them all!!!

I have nothing but great experiences with Dr. Cizmar and his staff. He was incredibly kind and knowledgable throughout my pregnancy which was somewhat high-risk. He was amazing throughout my delivery and recovery, totally listened to my concerns and honored my requests. I look forward to seeing him for all future babies :)
