Dr. Brant Joseph Lutsi, MD

Couple of years ago I scheduled a colonoscopy and endoscopy with Dr Lutsi as my insurance changed, so I was forced to see him instead my forever gastro Dr Shahid Ilahi which is an excellent Doctor and I never experienced any problems after surgery. But with this one was a total different story From the moment they got me ready in the room where he don't even have a minute of his precious time to say Hi at least, to the moment when I was in the room with all the nurses getting me ready and about to go to sleep when he just asked me: What are the issues that you're having? I said my throat feels tight and I choke a lot. He said to me something like he can stretch it. I said No! I think these type of talks are for before surgery not when I'm half awake. Then after that I remember waking up in the other room. He don't even came to say ANYTHING AT ALL. So the nurse made me stand up to go to the bathroom, and I almost fell after I told her that I was very dizzy still. By the time I get… home my stomach was hurting so much due to the biopsies and my back was in so much pain as I have spinal bissues. So not only he was not kind or professional but he was ROUGH! Him and this nurse made my test a completely nightmare. I will never recommend this doctor. I don't understand why he treats everyone so great but me? Dr Ilahi always comes to the room to hold my hand and tell me: Don't worry. Everything will be fine. He even tell the nurses to treat me nice and not to insert the piece of plastic on my mouth not until I'm completely sedated because he knows I get very scared. This is how nice and caring he is.

Dr. Lutsi has a great bedside manner and really listens. He cares about his patients and makes them feel welcome and safe. I referred my mom to him and will be referring more friends and family to him!

Had banding done and it was the worst experience ever. Was told it wouldn't be bad, in office procedure, wouldn't need to take off work. Asked for meds to help relax me a few days prior after reading about the procedure. I was made to feel it wasn't necessary and after asking twice was given such a small amount it didn't even work. The doctor lied about the amount of pain there was going to be. With how horrible the pain was, it was worse that the doctor missed and had to do the procedure twice. Had to take of extra days of work from the procedure. Worst pain I have ever had. Canceled appointments that were standing and will never go back to that place.
