Dr. Brenda Cacucci, MD

Dr Cacucci repaired my hiatal hernia using da Vinci robot. The entire surgery experience was best case scenario. Recovery was excellent & pain very minimal. I highly recommend her. She's also very kind & caring. She was also very aware of another medical issue I had from a previous surgery & kept on top of that. I feel very fortunate to have found her!

Dr. Cacucci , I had the chance to sit in to get a better understanding about the surgery. After words I thought I selected the correct person .... until I had the chance to speak to your staff. I got the feeling that I was just a number & all they were concerned with was 1 of 2 my insurance & what number would I be on your list. This was very dis-hearting ... I couldn't get a word in while talking to your staff I was treated like I didn't know what I was getting myself into & was actually asked how many surgery's have I done / been in .... I can't wait to convey this info to my primary Doctor & ask if she knew the public was treated in this fashion .... VERY SAD VERY SAD

She was approachable and helpful all the way up to my surgery. Once she got her money, she was done. I've never experienced such pathetic and unethical patient care in my life. When I call to schedule follow up appointments or ask for refills, the staff will ignore the requests or not even return the call at all. They are extremely rude and act as if you are bothering them. Do not go to this group!

Dr. Brenda Cacucci was on my insurance company's surgeon list. My primary care physician adviced me to consult a surgeon after I had taken several tests for intestinal pain. I doubt that Cacucci even reviewed those tests which proved I had a twist & blockage in my colon. Instead she insisted I needed to have my gall bladder removed (even though my pain was all in the lower area of my intestines).. I agreed to this ONLY if she would examine my intestinal tract at the same time and find the source of my condition. I reminded her of this on the day of my surgery also & it was the first thing I ask her upon waking. She had done no exploratory, only an incompetent gall bladder removal, perforated my intestines. She later admitted she had thought the laparoscopy had perforated my intestine but sent me home 3 hours later anyway. 5 days later I went to her office bloated, feverish & in pain, but instead of readmitting me, again she sent me home to die to cover her mistake. A few hours after… this follow appointment my family took me to the ER where after talking to Brenda Cacucci, the hospital's on-call surgeon agreed to take my case away from her & he saved my life. (I do not name this surgeon only to spare him additional problems from Brenda Cacucci) . He repaired the puncture Dr. Cacucci had created, perform the bowel resection I originally needed & documented all his findings in my hospital records. I spent 14 days in the hospital on intravenous antibiotics, then months with 10 other doctors learning that I would be permanently disabled by the nerve damage done by these 2 surgeries and the sepsis. No hospital or patient should ever allow Brenda Cacucci to perform a surgical procedure. Brenda Cacucci is not only a incompetent surgeon, she is a immoral & unethical person.
