Dr. Brenda Carol Scribner, MD

I have been seeing Dr Scribner for about five years and I absolutely love her. She is understanding, knowledgeable and caring. She occasionally tells me “I think your issue is _______, you need to talk to this doctor, and she is right. She always has a smile and she listens and asks questions. She has never given up on me. She is by far the best psychiatrist I have ever seen.

Arrogant, rude, and condescending. She has absolutely no empathy and is the WORST psych doc I’ve ever seen. she mixed up my prescriptions several times and would never apologize. She doesn’t listen to you; she listens to respond with some gem of ”wisdom” that is idiotic. Stay far, far away.

Dont . Just Don't . 1st visit this lady had me so mad I am glad it was a virtual visit so could just hang up . She then prescribed some awful Meds and did not go over why i was to take them or side effects .

I love Dr Scribner. She listens to me and finds solutions for my problems on a regular basis.

When I first met her i was unsure as you usually are with a dr but she quickly made me feel like I had understanding. She is a no nonsense like of woman and tells you how it is even if you dont want to hear it, but everytime it clicked. So if your soft skinned and dont like to hear how it is then you may not like her but in my case I need a straight forward therapist. In 20 min every 3 months, I had more of a break through then I had with any other therapist for 2 hrs every 2 weeks

First visit I left in tears...

She made me feel at ease right away, and helped me find a diagnosis without feeling stigmatized. It's really hard to find a good doctor these days, but she is definitely at the top of the list. She really listens and shared useful tools and coping mechanisms with me.

Explained my options very clearly, including information about practitioners who might charge a lower fee, in case that was a factor for me.

You would be hard pressed to find a more thorough, knowledgeable psychiatrist on the Eastern Shore.

This doctor changed my life. She put together medications that gave me results quickly, and gott me functioning better. Her therapy is caring, uplifting, and professional. I wish all doctors were as good as her! She non-judgemental, made me feel welcome, and really made my medical condition better.
