Dr. Brenda Burnson Simpson, MD

I have been under Dr. Simpson's care since 2017. I have found her to be a great surgeon who follows up diligently. She will make every effort to get you in should you have any concerns in the preop or post op setting. She is thorough and to the point. I have had numerous complements from other physicians on her work and had zero complications in the the post op setting. I have sent multiple family members to her as well. We are all very pleased.

Dr. Simpson seems amiable and friendly at the initial conference, but once you are in the system, after surgery, she was quite hard to communicate with. She has very little time for explanations and was inflexible about understanding of any range of treatments or testing but her own. I had complications with the surgery and she had one treatment which did not work on successive attempts, and yet she persisted with that one treatment anyway. Lastly, she would not assist me in my followup goals. Hers were the only ones that mattered. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Started out thinking Dr was really good. When I was sent to another office for other tests the confusion started. No one seemed to be on the same page at all. Tried to resolve it but never got a return call so decided to move on. The staff at the office I went to were really great and made things easy - moved right along, not so much so at the other one. First visit took nearly 3 hrs.
