On very first appointment the first words out of his mouth was to inform me that he does not prescribe opioids. I was seeing him primarily for diabetic treatment. Prior to next visit I tried to get him to order labs before the appointment because I was leaving town day after appointment. "NO. It is his practice and labs are AFTER appointment". For me A1C and cholesterol and iron are tested everytime for over a decade. Bye, bye Brent. I now have a better doctor.

Dr. McEntire quickly becomes rude and detached if you have a complex medical issue. If you have no real issues, don't need medication, or can diagnose yourself than you'll love him. If you need treatment or a referral to a specialist, FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR! He is quick to become rude at the notion he can't or isn't willing to help you. I left his office in literal tears with a migraine issue I've had for 9 years. I've tried everything including surgery. I came to him in desperation and he could have cared less. Treated me like a wanted pain meds. I clearly told him I had tried everything and nothing worked. I did not even suggest I wanted pain medication. I wanted medical HELP which last I checked, that is what a doctor is there for. Beware and be informed before you take on this doctor.

He's ok but that's pretty much it. With dealing with your child you didn't won't a mediocre dr. he can be rude and not helpful to some situations concerning your bby.

Dr. McEntire is a very caring and professional pediatrician. He has always shown me and my son the greatest care and concern, including doing a full checkup even when he was brought in for baby acne.
