Excellent doctor. Asks good questions, thoughtfully listens to mine and researches all options before making recommendations. Great bedside manner! Lighthearted at the right moments to ease anxiety, but takes concerns seriously.

Do not take your child to this doctor. I took my 8 year old son here because the ER sent us to him. Big mistake. My sone had just broken his wrist and was there to be casted and ultimately told he would not be able to play in the baseball All Star season. He had just made the team and was highly disappointed. Instead of being supportive, Dr. McIntosh embarrassed him my yelling at him for wearing his baseball hat into his office! He told him it was rude to wear hats inside and made him remove it! My poor son was devasted on all levels after that appointment. Although angry, that wasn't even the worst part of our experience. Dr. McIntosh struggled to use his own computer program to accurately show us the xrays. Additionally, he would not answer questions we had about follow up care such as would he need to wear a brace for his next sport season. He blew us off and said it wasn't important and not to worry about it. When I called my insurance company to say I was switching… doctors, they told me I couldn't because he had already billed them for the entire fracture care plan. His poor nurse is the only saving grace of this office. I am shocked she stays! Find a different doctor!
