Called to get a family member an appointment. The girl on the phone immediately had an attitude and seemed extremely put out by me before I even broached the subject of why I was calling. Great first experience...NOT. I won’t be using this doctor.

Knowledgeable, listens, challenges, supportive, and professional. Goes above and beyond to provide me with information in reguards to what im going through at the time. He calls you back promtly when he says he will! Always on time.

Understanding, patience, an exceptional and consultative approach is what you can expect when being treated under Dr. Menninger’s care.

Dr. Menninger is brilliant and hilarious. His "bedside manner" is so unique that, upon first visit, it is wise to know that the man you are talking to has a very dry sense of humor. Give it a few sessions and his quirky brilliance will make you laugh until you cry while resonating on such a profound level. He is truly a genius and his credentials are unmatched! And no ... you are NOT his "craziest" patient. I am.

I was going through a health crisis and facing another very unwanted surgery in about 3 weeks. I was starting to panic, and I asked Dr. Menninger if there were more options for me (other than just taking medications all of the time). He didn't offer to provide therapy, refer me to a therapist, or even provide me a few names of offices to call. Instead, here was his response via email: "The easiest, quickest way to get into a therapist is to go through the EAP...Please consider that you have normal problems which are quite predictable given your circumstances...Normally, an EAP has a mandate to get you in within a week or so. So, again, how about checking into the EAP?" I called the EAP but, given my timeline, it wasn't really an option. The worst part was how hurt I felt given his lack of empathy when I was going through a tough situation.

Its not always about prescribing medication, doctor should be graded for the usefulness, one who would help a patient lead complete and full filling life, if that's what you are looking for then Dr Brent Menninger is THE doctor to visit

I like his note taking and active conversations. He also is good for listening and discussing issues. I never feel rushed in my appointments. He and his staff are friendly.

It has been a real pleasure to work with Dr. Menninger over this past year. My life is much better, and I am much happier. It is very easy to talk with Dr. Menninger, and he is very attentive to concerns. I felt that we worked together to find a combination and dose of medications that frankly has given me new outlook on life. All in all, it has been a wonderful experience.

Very professional. Very knowledgeable of medicines and what works best for the patient. Knows what questions to ask. Helped me transition to a more effective medicine and find the right dosage. As a result I am functioning much better.
