Very kind and thorough!

Most horrific experience ever!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! On multiple occasions he was dismissive of my medical history, REFUSED to request medical records, accused me of doctor “name dropping” when I was discussing past medical history. On last visit, he spent nearly an hour explaining why NO testing was necessary (despite my history of STROKE, multiple TIA, suspected CSF leak due to LIFELONG vascular Ehlers-Danlos genetic condition coupled with Antiphopholipid clotting disorder, history of neoendricrine cancer), instead shaming me for my weight and diabetes (which was managed with A1C of 6.4). I’m a very non-confrontational person, and the onslaught attack and shaming was shocking... and he waved his hands dismissively when I pointed out that I was thin and young and healthy when I went through these problems the first time, and that the genetic and autoimmune clotting disorder was an underlying factor. It was all I could do not to cry in his office at his blatant disregard for my… well-being, he made it very clear HE wasn’t interested in resolving the medical issues at all. During the discussion on symptoms he kept hammering about what I’m doing to manage them (mostly focused on my sleep, stress, weight, and diabetes), I discussed the physical and cognitive impact and what procedures had been put in place by PT/OT... after this discussion Dr Aldrich actually documented in my medical file “Learned Helplessness”... seriously?!? The tools taught by *professionals* to overcome the cognitive and physical limitations after stroke and to manage the intercranial hypotension headaches are characterized as “learned helplessness” by this “professional”?!?!?! As if that wasn’t enough, Alldregde also added the diagnosis “functional disorder“ to my chart. NO evaluation by a psychologist, no documentation on how he made the leap to a psychological disorder, in fact ZERO discussion with me about it whatsoever! I learned about his new “diagnosis” from my PCP. So now I’m fighting to get back to the neurosurgeon who treated my past CSF leak at Cedars-Sinai hospital, which the insurance will now NOT pay for because I do NOT have the appropriate testing or referra from neurology... thanks to the apathy of Dr. Alldregde. And the icing on the cake Dr. Alldregde finally DID order some testing AFTER my interventional mammogram the Dr said the cyst in my brain (which Alldregde has been telling me for two years isn’t a big deal) is potentially responsible for those issues (breast leakage, joint pain, HEADACHES, memory impairment, intermittent loss of hearing in one ear, vertigo and dizziness, WEIGHT GAIN, HIGH BLOOD SUGAR/DIABETES, enlarged thyroid (did biopsy within this time period because it’s enlarged) BUT FAILED TO NOTIFY ME IN ANY WAY so I could schedule and DO the test. ***The greatest travesty is that WHEN physicians characterize those with genetic or chronic disabling conditions as “functional disorders“, label years of physical, occupational and speech therapy as “learned helplessness“, decline to request medical records and notate “catastrophizing” in lieu of documenting actual past medical history, it creates a very real BARRIER to appropriate diagnosis and future treatment... Further harming this already underserved demographic.*** I’m very lucky other physicians took the time to properly evaluate and look at bloodwork, do tests, consider medical history, request medical records and send for consult with experts. Praying this isn’t my cancer back, very stressful and financially taxing with having to go outside the insurance coverage. Soo... this was my experience with this physician. Quite distressing and has a continued negative impact on my well-being.

Went to go see Dr. Alldredge for another opinion. His testing was very thorough and he listened to our concerns and was able to address all of them.

My husband went to see Dr. Alldredge for some chronic pain he was experiencing and the doctor took his time listening to us and was able to help my husband. We will continue to see Dr. Alldredge!

My husband has MS and I'm so glad we were referred to Dr. Alldredge because he knows so much about MS and has been able to help my husband!

I really appreciated Dr. Alldredge and his bedside manner. He was able to help me understand and explained my case thoroughly. He took his time and I didn't feel rushed. I'd recommend him to everyone.

I was really impressed with Dr. Alldredge and the way I was examined also I appreciated the way he spoke to me and I was able to understand. He was very thorough and patient.

Unprofessional!! Had me prejudged before I walked in. Did no exam. Dismissed my tbi. And put me on a high dose of medacine that made me feel like i was dying. My GP took me off 4wks later because I couldn't move. Now I get to wait months to find a new one.

Dr Alldredge was very thorough with my exam. I have MS and he reviewed all my old MRI's with the current onehe ordered for me. His staff is excellent and follow up is very prompt. I have seen many neurologists over the years and he has been my favorite.
